Waterfall-like tears fell down my cheeks as I stare at the home I once knew.
What happened... to us?
Large buildings are falling, bridges are breaking, and people are wailing. It was a total catastrophe.
Why is this happening?
My home... our home... it is now gone. No more smiles, no more laughter, no more happy days.
"To all the citizens of Utopia, we command you to surrender this land to us. Yield to the cyborgs. Don't try to resist. Only death would transpire."
A large aircraft appeared and dropped several bombs in the vicinity. Screams echoed through my ears.
"Liberty!"
Who was that?
I looked at the woman in the hands of the cyborg. It held her neck tightly... and painful.
I froze in front of her. It hurts seeing her struggle but I can't seem to remember her.
I watched her as she slowly breathe for the last time.Suddenly, there were screams. I turned my head and saw a group of people. They were all terrified. They tried to run but the cyborgs were surrounding them. There was no escape.
Unexpectedly, someone tapped me at the back.
It was the woman in the hands of the cyborg a while ago. She was okay, smiling happily.
"My dear, Liberty..."
She started caressing my hair then my cheek. By that interaction, I remembered her.
"Mom!"
I hugged her tightly. This is the woman I loved and knew welld.
I miss you.
"It's all over. Let's go home, Liberty."
