Dust was perfectly fine with hogging the couch. He was not feeling particularly social today and was fine with that.

"Dust, I've got a favor to ask," Dust had to blink twice before realizing that Nightmare was talking to him.

"Oh no, you're asking for something. Is it that bad?" Dust teased. He immediately regretted it. He braced himself for some sort of attack. Luckily, that did not happen.

"Shut up. Look, I've had this weird feeling from Underswap since this morning. It feels like unneeded negativity."

"You want me to go out to find out why?" Nightmare nodded. "What makes you think I will?"

"I know you like Bl-"

"Alright! I'll go!" In an instant, Dust's surroundings changed from the familiar living room to a familiar forest. He never knew that Snowdin Forest could ever hold so much dread, even when he would kill everyone. It did not take him long to find Blue.

Blue, besides pretending to be cheery, was looking him straight in the eyes. "Hi Dust!"

Dust was taken aback by the greeting. He did not think Blue would actually be happy to see him. "Heya Blue."

Blue smiled. "What brings you here?"

"You know, just out and about." Dust figured Blue already knew why he was here.

"Really?" Blue teased. "But why come here?"

"Well, I-" Dust did not finish. He noticed Blue's eyes were not completely blue. They seemed to glitch between red.

"What's wrong?" Blue looked at him with a warm smile.

Why is he so cute? "Uh, nothing!" Dust quickly averted his gaze. Beads of sweat trickled down his skull.

"Come on, you know you can tell me anything." Blue smiled a bit more, his eyes settling in a teasing expression. He grabbed Dust's hand and pulled it close to his chest. This forced Dust to face Blue.

"Wh- What are you doing?" Dust fumbled for words. He had a feeling in his gut that told him that something was wrong with Blue.

"Come on, don't you like this? Don't you love me?"

Dust did not want to blush, but apparently Fate had other plans. "Wh-What are you talking ab-"

"Because I love you." Blue's eyes turned into red ovals. Dust noticed several patches of blood on his clothes. His right hand held a very bloody axe.

Dust yanked his hand out of Blue's grip and staggered backwards. "What the hell?"

"Dust, I'm so sorry!" yelled the blue eyed Blue.

"Quiet!" yelled the red eyed Blue. "You've had your chance. It's my turn." This Blue looked Dust squarely in the eyes. "Call me Yan, I'm way better than Blue." Yan smiled gently.

Dust just stared. He knew in the back of his mind that Blue was gone. The rest of his mind was not convinced.

"Come on, I thought you loved me," Yan said. "Please say it."

Dust tried to ignore the fact that the air blew with dust. How many monsters did he kill? It's almost like he's some sort of- Dust all of a sudden realized what "Yan" was short for.

"Come on, is there a problem?" Yan asked. Yan's teasing expression turned into poison. His eyes seemed to vibrate death.

Dust took several steps backward. He did not know how to deal with someone like this. He knew Blue was not like this. He wanted to leave. "No, um, Nightmare told me to check something out in one of the other AUs, but I came here instead. He's expecting me back soon."

Dust sprinted through his newly formed portal into the familiar kitchen. He quickly closed the portal and sat down at the table with his head in his hands. Is Blue really gone? he pondered over and over again. He almost did not notice Nightmare. "What?" he said. He did not mean to sound as annoyed as he did.

"Are you okay?" Nightmare asked.

"My crush just turned into a yandere. I'm fine," Dust replied with heavy sarcasm.

Dust felt Nightmare touch his shoulder. "Will you be alright?"

"What's the matter with you? You're acting more nice than nor-" Dust turned around to actually look Nightmare in the face. He did not expect to see Nightmare in his passive form. "What happened?"
