Daniel POV
It was 1:00am and I was looking for Delilah who decided she wanted to play hide and seek before we had to wait for Aidan. I found her staring in the street across the road at some idiot dancing on a roof wall.

We both ended up standing there for about 15 minutes watching as this dimwit moon walked along the wall. We were both about to say that we should go when the imbecile tried to slide into the splits and missed his footing. For a minute, I actually thought he was going to die, I mean.... that would be the perfect way to go, sliding off a building while dancing. He somehow managed to fall onto the other side, landing on the roof but I could have sworn he flickered into disappearing before reappearing.

After he had fallen the other side on the roof, me and Delilah shared a secret look to speak and laugh of this only when we get back home, before turning around and walking off in the direction of the alley. We went a bit further than the alley and stopped in a shop that was still open, buying cigarettes and chocolate. I had let Delilah pay otherwise she would give me another speech on how she is 'an independent woman that don't need no man' after that she would proceed to sing (more like screech) Beyoncé. I would prefer not to have Beyoncé ruined again for me so she paid and in turn, was happy.

Delilah ran on down to the alley before me with the stuff in a bag so she could eat the majority of the chocolate. I had picked up a dark chocolate bar as well as a normal chocolate bar, and because I knew she didn't like the dark chocolate, I walked back slowly while taking in the crescent moon.

Just before I turned down into the alley, I saw the boy and got a better look at him. His slim figure was wearing a white leotard with light blue jeans, I wasn't even surprised to see that his lips were blue. I must have had a freaked out look on my face when I walked down the alley because Del, who was munching on the chocolate bar like a hamster, asked 'what?'

I walked down a little bit further than Del so I could see the boy go by as he walked slow and she turned to me, happy to eat her chocolate in peace. She must have seen my face looking up and we started talking casually while she picked up the hint that someone was there. For a minute I thought he had gone but I saw white leotard as he stepped back. I purposely said "see you in a minute" to Delilah, after taking the cigarettes, which was code word for wait for my signal. I also made sure to emphasise where he was so she wouldn't bump into him as she walked the other side of the alley.

I then proceeded to walk down to the dead end and light one of the cigarettes I had. Either way this would be okay for me. He would either follow me and I'd pull the signal for Del or he'd walk off like any normal person would and we'd forget it ever happened. However, I knew he wasn't any ordinary person as I felt his gaze on me a few drags in. I almost felt like sighing at this idiot, but I also felt a bit of excitement at his stupid behaviour. He was like a wildcard, that is unexplainably stupid which makes his actions unexpected.

I saw him disappear from the corner, I wondered if he was just observing but I couldn't take that chance so I threw down the cigarette and walked after him and whistled to Del who blocked the exit. I pulled out my gun on him as he turned around.

His face wasn't what I expected, he looked more frustrated than scared as if he knew what he'd done was stupid. I felt like laughing but I didn't.

Del came closer to his back while I held the gun steadily in my hands, also coming closer. Del looked to be in game mode as she had a scowl on her face which was covered in chocolate that she must have scarfed down when she was waiting for my signal. She didn't pull out her gun as the boy didn't make any moves.

When we were close enough to hear each other I asked for his name and he scoffed at me. I was taken aback by his rudeness towards a person with a gun and I think Del was as well as she cautiously pulled her gun into a more accessible place.

I motioned for Del to check to see if he had any weapons but he only had on him his phone, headphones and a lighter. He once again scoffed when I lowered the gun and put his arms under his armpits. The only shaking he was doing was shivering.

I looked towards Del wondering what the hell we were going to do with this kid and she just shrugged as confused as I was. He looked about 12 but I knew he was at least 18.

She looked through his phone by pointing the face identification at him while I asked him what he was doing out here. His reply was vague and questionable, Del said that there wasn't much on his phone about himself which made him look like he was up to something.

Before we could make a judgment on what to do with him, Aidan stepped out of the car and the boy tried to make a run for it. Unfortunately for him, Del was quicker and knocked him over the head with the handle of her gun and he fell down cold.

Aidan, who was watching beside the car, looked amused and then told us to put him in the car. Del offered to help me carry him but I told her that he was thin enough to carry alone so she ran to the car while shouting "DIBS" as I picked up the boy who felt like ice.

When we were in the car, I pulled off my jumper, put it on him and told Aidan to put the heater on. At this rate, he was lucky if he didn't get hypothermia.

I sat in silence while Aidan and Delilah were talking about what happened and felt a light weight on my lap. I realised the boy was now using my head as a pillow.
