The pack arrived no more than twenty minutes later. Everyone carrying my favorite foods, candies, and drinks. The suck ups.

By the time they got there I had managed to get Derek onto the couch, the couch I made him get, and settled next to me. When all the betas walk in they seem hesitant. They probably should be, I'm a man on a mission.

"Hey, man. How have you been?" Scott asked timidly.

Derek was half in my lap, watching the puppies set all their offerings on the strategy table. He tightened his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. It was really adorable, but I was royally pissed at him for biting me.

"Great. Did you hear the news? Derek claimed me!" I was almost yelling at the end. Derek rumbled happily at the last part of the sentence. Scott, however, noticeably winced.

Scott sighed and looked down, "Deaton told me. I should've warned you about the wolf sides and their-" Lydia cut him off with a jab to the ribs. Hmmm.

"And their what?" I asked warningly. I already knew why he bit me. I was a research expert, I just wanted to see if they were gonna lie.

Instead of answering everyone dropped to the ground. There was absolute silence for at least five minutes before the loft door slid open. Then my favorite zombie wolf waltzed right in.

"Stiles, darling, you already know the answer. Why play them like this?" Peter asked. At that everyone's heads snapped to me, and Derek growled.

"It was just a little test. I wanted to see what they would say. Sadly, you walked in before anyone spoke." I informed shortly.

He hummed thoughtfully before moving closer to me. Derek's growling became louder, more aggressive. "Peter." I warned "Sourwolf here bites, just look at my neck."

Peter stopped his advances and moved to the side of the room to watch. For some reason, me and Peter get along fairly well. Derek remained tense and growling, but no one paid him attention. Instead, everyone looked at me.

"Yes. I'm aware that we are mates. I didn't know until he went feral though. Issac, again with the scarf!" I can't believe he's wearing a scarf. It's eighty degrees outside, I mean come on!

"Stop judging me Stiles. You literally wear plaid with graphic tees. I don't wanna hear it." Issac sassed lightly. I like what I'm wearing, though I'm not changing my clothing style.

"Whatever, pup. Were any of you going to fess up?" I raised my eyebrows, I wish I could raise one eyebrow at a time.

Erica hummed lightly "I doubt they would have but I considered it."

"Okay," I said dragging out the 'y', "You guys know this means I'm kinda in charge of you now, right?" I finished.

Everyone nodded before Allison spoke up, "In case you haven't noticed we kinda differ to you anyways. Derek's great an all but you come up with better plans than anyone."

Awww, my little heart just exploded. It's about time they acknowledged my genius. I couldn't stop the dopey grin that stretched across my lips.

"Stiles, why did hearing that make you so happy?" Scott asked in confusion. Derek was grumbling approvingly at the smell of my joy.

"He feels under appreciated. Isn't that obvious?" Peter told with a raise of one eyebrow. Man, I really wish I could do that!

As if understanding what had just been said, Derek whined before burying his head in the junction of my neck and shoulder. He paused and inhaled then huffed out a sigh, his broad shoulders moving with it. I decided that the quiet of the pack was lasting too long. However, right as I opened my mouth to speak, the wolf lounging across my body licked me.

My mouth snapped closed and I struggled for a moment to control any other reactions to the warm, wet sensation of his tongue on my throat. The misfit group in front of me was watching with wide eyes; except Erica, who was bent over laughing.

"Haha. My Derek situation is just so amusing." I responded sarcastically.

"It is. Wow. You should have seen your face!" Erica managed while calming down from her laughter.

Derek had moved during her break in sanity and was now sniffing at my grown out hair. When it's wet it fell across my forehead, but it stuck up wildly when it's dry. I preferred it this length.

"Pass me the curly fries." I commanded when I finally looked at all the food everyone brought. Kira moved from her spot near the pillar to the desk before picking up the food and moving towards me. She passed it to me quickly while our alpha growled and narrowed his eyes.

I tore into the bag and shoved a couple into my mouth and started chewing. I held a few out to Derek and he ate them hurriedly. "Slow down, buddy. They're not going anywhere." I smiled before petting his head. He leaned closer to my hand as a way to let me know to keep petting him.

As Derek and I ate the curly fries everybody else broke off into smaller conversations. We finished off the fries in record time and I remained petting Derek's hair the entire time. I decided I was still hungry, so I got up and moved to the desk.

Of course my mate had to follow me there. Hmm, I guess that's real then. Derek Hale is my mate and he's already claimed me.

I grabbed as much of the food I could tote after having put all the bags of candy in my pockets. I shuffled back over to the couch with all I had gathered, the pack leader sniffing at my pockets and hands the whole way. I flopped down onto the cushioned surface, careful not to drop or spill anything.

Derek settled next to me and turned to look at me with wide eyes, his question clear. "Yes, Derek. I'm gonna share with you." I answered out loud.

The other teens in the room looked at me smiling. "What?" I asked confusedly. Half of them just shook their heads, smiles never faltering. The other half just stared between the two of us on the couch.

"Whatever, you weirdos," I huffed "Can someone put on a movie please?"
