dommit book one: the choice of a hero

prologue

   The devil was cast out of haven and his followers close behind. Dommit was the lowest rank, he wasn't even given an ability from his new master, but his brothers were powerful, lightning, fire, wind, speed, but he was gifted none.

   With hard work he climbed the ranks, he killed others and became the right hand of Lucifer himself. But when the great war came Dommit turned his back on hell, he killed millions of demons, and with havens help they stopped the apocalypse.

   The mid evil era was the dark ages, but lost in history is the power of a bond that would become the foundation of the new world. A spell that changed the world, but only to save it. The binding spell, binding a demon to a vessel.

   Dommit was bound to a boy who was an outcast, someone who was replaceable, someone who lost everything to demons years ago. His family and friends died as his town burned to the first battle, he was the only survivor, used to tell the story.
   Sadly his name was lost in time, he was however turned into a demon. The first turned, the first man-made demon by cursing the human soul. They called him by his demon that shared his body, Dommit. Together they would be able to do anything, but alone they would both die. This curse was called bind, a demon and a human signed a contract to life, or to death.

   Their sword would engrave this curse, a long sword  engraved, "may death due us part". This sword is their bound, part of the curse if the sword breaks the team dies. If they die any other way, then the sword finds a new vessel, stabbing the heart and killing the host. Then injects the two souls in the dead body giving it life once again. This soul that dies is then turned into energy, given to the havens and let free, but the boy feels excruciating pain, torn apart then filling the new vessel.
