Bus

You took a peek at the shining silver watch secure on your wrist, then glanced to your left for the millionth time. Your only mode of transportation was late once again. Feeling uncomfortable with your spot on the bench, you stand up, shifting your weight from one foot to the other. Where is it?

Suddenly, you hear 'English Girl' by a group called ONEUS, playing loudly from your pocket. A certain someone you knew was in this group, and this was your favourite song... so far. Glad there wasn't anyone in close proximity to hear that outburst, you hurriedly grab it and answer without looking at the caller ID. "Keonhee?"

"Y/N! Where are you? I've been waiting for you for hours!" The person on the other line was your childhood friend, Lee Keonhee. Today, you and him had planned to meet at a café so you could have the first look at a new song he and his other friends had written.

You panicked a little, nervous that he'd be pretty annoyed at you for being late. Yet again. In a quiet tone, you respond, "I-I'm really sorry. The bus is late. Please wait there a bit longer. I'm sorry, Keonhee..." You then mentally slap yourself for being so awkward and stuttering. Though, to be fair, you disliked calling over texting but only put up with it to hear his melodious voice. Not surprised if I have to repeat that.

"Oh. Well... it's okay. But you should've went on an earlier bus then." You imagine him pouting cutely as he'd do that whenever you made a tiny mistake or less-than-intelligent decision. You apologize repeatedly, hanging up. As if on cue, you look up to see the small bus doors open up for you to enter.
