12 days of Christmas (Cegan & Rickly)

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me

(This is a side story of Obsession and Burning Hearts series. It's just something for Christmas I wanted to do. I don't own anyone from walking dead, all rights belong to AMC and the comics. I only own the edits I make and my Oc's and my friend's own their Oc's.)

Michonne had a wonderful idea for Alexandria that they could celebrate Christmas for once and tell the Hilltop and the Kingdom to join in with them. She thought it would be good for the kids to have something good in their life. She told Rick and Daryl her idea and they both agreed to it. Soon the whole town was getting things ready for Christmas and news even got to Hilltop and the Kingdom as well and they were doing the same thing. Daryl went out and got a tree for his home and even set it up as well. He even helped set up the town's big tree and got the lights to even work.

Getting gifts would be a bit hard to get but they would make due to what they would find or make. Soon the news got to even Negan since Carl told him on their walkie and he also wanted to do it as well at the Sanctuary. The saviors thought it was a little odd but they went with it.

Negan didn't know what to give his love Carl for Christmas so he had an idea. He went over to Alexandria with a group of his men to tell Carl what he wanted to do.

"Carl a word." He said as the teen ran over to him in the snow. "I want you to stay at the Sanctuary for 12 days," he said to him as he wrapped his arm around his shoulders.

"Um, why?" Carl asked wondering why did he have to go there now.

"I got some christmas gifts I want to give you for those 12 days. Don't worry I'll bring you back to your family once our 12 days are done."

Carl cocked his head to the side wondering where Negan was getting at but he went along with it just in case he would be forced to go. The teen walked back to his house with Negan and went inside and saw Daryl setting up the tree and Rick was helping him out while Meg was busy baking cookies. He looked over and saw both Judith and Zane in the playpen for a play date also they are cousins as well since Zane was Merle's son who was being raised by Michonne since Merle and Emma where gone.

"Hey dads, Negan wants me to stay 12 days at the Sanctuary." He said as they both looked at each other then glared at Negan.

"Why?" They both said at the same time.

"I have gifts for Carl here and I want to give him a gift each day for 12 days. Don't worry I'll bring him back." Negan smirked at the two men. "I won't take no for an answer."

Carl had a feeling he was going to say that. "I'll go it's fine." He said as he went upstairs to pack.

Rick went over to the older man and narrowed his eyes. "If you hurt him I will kill you," he said as Daryl nodded his head as well.

Negan smirked at Rick. "Sure Rick always giving me empty threats. Enjoy the holiday for once." he winked at him as Carl came back downstairs and went over to Judith and Zane and gave them both a kiss on their foreheads and hugs. He then walked over to his fathers and gave them both a hug. "See you in 12 days." He said as he followed Negan back to the trucks and drove back to the Sanctuary.

Once back Carl was shocked to see the place all dolled up in Christmas stuff. He went to Negan's room which had a small table tree and there were two stockings on the wall. "Wow, you went all out huh?"

"Yup." He sat down on his couch and pulled the Carl on his lap. "I have a gift for you now." he pointed to a large ass box by the bed. Carl smiled and got up and walked over to it and unwrapped it and it looked like a swing with Christmas lights all over it and a fake tree with it that looked like a pear tree. The teen was very confused as Negan came up behind him and held him close to him.
