~ Fate ~

It was a cloudy normal day in Eroda, but not for Edward, after feeling outcasted by his own town, trying to make friends only to be looked at as odd or unusual because he was different, peculiar if you'd say. The erodians didn't understand the boy, they looked at him like he was not meant to be there....as the boy soon felt that as well.

Sitting in his room in the Yuna Inn he stared at the wall, thinking of why they don't like him... why can't I make friends? He thought, why am I different? He felt so...out of place, miserable if you say, no one ever spoke to him, and when he tried they were rude and mean, he never understood it, he started blaming himself for the way he was, hating himself for who he is, eating him up inside. He felt hopeless, alone, sadness consuming him to the point he wanted it to end.

He had no one, no one cared, no one seemed to bat an eye at his existence, so if he disappeared they wouldn't seem to notice? He thought, his thoughts running fast in his head, his anxious mind was making his body nervous, he sighed... taking the big diving helmet off his bed placing it on his head, getting up from the bed he head straight to his door to face what he is about to do, his mind already made up and no one could change that....

He walked the streets of Eroda, wearing the diving helmet to cover his face, while some looked they did not seem to bother nor care. He kept walking, reaching the hill to only walk over it instead of sitting like he would, with 12 empty glass jars screaming into them, the only way to release his pain... this time it was a different approach... As he skitted down the hill, he took off his diving helmet and placed it flat on the grass. As the boy lost his smile and his will to continue forward, the wind grew heavier, the atmosphere was more dull than before, dark and cold, and the ocean...the ocean grew more violent than before. He stood in the water edging closer to it as the waves got more intense, he picked up some rocks, heavy ones I might add and pushed them deep into his pocket... he frowned, looking out into the sea, he knew what he had to do, he knew he had to make the pain go away, the feeling of being alone, the feeling of being rejected by the one place he thought was home..

He took a deep breath and moved forward to the water... that's was till he saw something... something odd, something unusual... he squinted his eyes as they slightly widened, to find a girl... floating in the ocean, he knew what he had to do... he took the rocks out of his pockets and dove into the nasty oceans waves to get to her. The water was cold, about 20 below, but he didn't care... someone needed help and every inch of his body told him to help her. As he got closer he noticed the dark hair on the girl, her skin was pale as can be probably from the water being so cold, how long as she been in the water? He thought. He finally reached to her and picked up her limp body holding her close as he tried to get back to the land. The waves were dangerously clashing against his body, as he struggled holding the girl as he swam back to where he stood, contemplating his decision.

He finally reached the land as he lauded the girl on the grass, he checked for pulse but it was only weak. "Please... tell me your alive." He said to the dark haired girl who laid there breathing slow, he looked out to the ocean once again, why did he save her? why did he want to go into the ocean to save her? No one would do that for him, why did he care? If that was him they'd ignore him and let him drown.

That's the type of place Eroda was, beautiful all around but miserable and lonely and the people were rude not like what they say on their websites.

He began to get up walking away from the girl, picking up the rocks once again to place in his pockets, should I? He said to himself, should I end it all right here an now? No one will care not a soul, they won't even know I'm gone. He thought. As he got into the ocean more and closer, he then heard a huge gasp. He turned to see the girl struggling to breath as she's gasping for air. Something drawn himself to her, he didn't even know her, hell he doesn't know if she's even from Eroda.

He began rushing back to where she was, as she kept gasping for air, when he got close he noticed how bad shape she was in. He wanted to protect her, he wanted to make sure she was ok, at this point, it felt like fate, fate bringing them together at a strange destiny for them both, the boy didn't know who she was but he wanted to know.

As the girl tried to regain her senses, she opened her eyes to see the green eyed curly haired boy staring back at her, she was shivering, cold and out of breath basically, her lips were numb but her eyes didn't leave the boy.

"Help....me... please" she gasped out. The boys expression turned into worry, as he got up and picked the fragile girl up into his arms.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you are safe" the boy said, he knew what he had to do, maybe this was fates way of showing him something, a light perhaps? At this point he didn't care, all he cared about was getting her to the nearest hospital in the village and to protect her at all costs, even if he didn't know her at all.
