NOTE TO READERS: This is one of my "CJ Bishop" stories and features characters that have been introduced and fleshed out in previous CJ Bishop books. This story is mainly written for those who are familiar with the books in my "Cowboy Gangster" and "Phoenix Club" series, but even if you haven't read those books (available on amazon) I hope you will still enjoy this fun and sexy short story :)

"What's that look for?"

"What look?"

"That look." Axel smirked and closed the suitcase. "If I didn't know better, I'd think you didn't trust me."

Clint chuffed. "I don't."

"What? Why?" The cowboy's wariness was cute, charming, and even a bit sexy. Then again, everything about Clint was sexy. "It's your birthday tomorrow, baby. I wouldn't take you somewhere that you're not going to have fun. Trust me."

"Trust you." Clint snorted. "Don't think I don't know that you conspired with those damn Phoenix boys. If any of you try to get me anywhere near a stage..."

Axel laughed. "It's nothing like that. We're not going to a strip club. It's perfectly innocent."

Clint stared at him skeptically through narrowed eyes. "The Phoenix boys and innocent don't go together. You trying to bluff me, boy?"

"I'll bluff you tonight—bluff you so hard." Axel chuckled. "But right now? No. I'm not trying to trick you. So, get that sexy cowboy ass of yours in the car and let's get this show on the road." He picked up his cell. "I'll let Kane know we're ready to head out. Can you grab that suitcase and put it in the car?"

When Clint left the room with the suitcase in tow, Axel called Donald.

"He still has no clue where you're taking him?" Donald asked.

"Nope. But he's wary." Axel laughed. "He thinks if the Phoenix guys are involved, then it's something down and dirty."

"Understandable."

"True. But I told him it was innocent."

Donald snickered. "All you guys out there? Something tells me it won't stay innocent for long."

"Probably not." Axel grinned. "Especially during adult time and the kids aren't around. But Clint will have a great time—I'll make sure of it." He sighed. "I really wish you and John could come with us."

"Yeah, me too," Donald said. "But Tae's sick with the flu and Zoe's gone on a gig, and Kane and Cochise need some time away to unwind and relax. They offered to stay home and let us go, but I think they need this more than we do. Maybe next time we can go."

"Absolutely. If we have a good time, we'll may make this a regular thing."

"That would be awesome. Take a lot of pictures and videos. I've got to see this for myself."

Axel laughed. "I intend to take a shitload of videos. I bought a small camcorder especially for this trip."

"Great. We'll have us a movie night when you get back."

"It's a date." Axel chuckled.

"Making dates behind my back?" Clint scowled upon returning to the bedroom.

"With John and Donald, and probably Zoe and Tae as well."

Clint rubbed his mouth. "Well, let's get going and get this over with."

Axel smiled and grabbed the cowboy's shirt, tugging him close. "You're going to have a great time." He kissed Clint on the mouth. "Trust me."
