Brian jumped up yelling"I know where I need to go!" The ravens spooked flew off voicing the annoyance. Looking around Brian realized that while he was away from the fighting he was thoroughly lost and alone."Well this is less than good." He dropped back down with a clank.
"Clank?" Brian looked down and realized he sat on the satchel. "Hmm I had forgotten I had that."He pulled it off his back and looked at it warily. "Do I dare?"Holding it at arms length he slowly flipped open the flap, mindful to keep the opening pointing away.
He cringed and squinted for a moment then straightened "Well there was no earth shattering kaboom so I suppose I am safe for now." Bringing the satchel closer he peeked inside. It was an odd experience. It was if he was gazing into a small room rather than the satchel.
It was messy in there but seemed to be well supplied. Curiosity got the better of Brian and he cautiously reached in, his hand shifted to the same size of the items which caused him to yank his hand back out. As he did so his coat hooked a brass object and dragged it along.
Brian jumped when he heard the metallic clink of the brass hitting stone. "What is this now?" Reaching down Brian picked up a small brass knocker. He flipped it over and the knocker hit the brass plate. "You're not useful how will you help me get to." His words trailed off.
Before Brian an archway appeared and through it he could see the set of stone lions that guarded the stairs of the University library. "The library." he whispered. Glancing around he stepped through the archway and emerged in the picnic area by some trees.
