The thing I hate the most about this little act is the fact that I have to constantly make up rumours about other people to stop them turning on me.
Every Friday, the whole school has two periods of PE and I suppose it was a lucky day. In Netball, two girls in my grade, who happened to be Goal Keeper and Goal Shooter, we're acting quite...
Weird.
At the back of the court.
"The lesbianic tension in the air was so strong it made it extremely difficult to concentrate on the game." I had told Rachel, Chloe, Sabrina and Cassie in the change rooms.
"I totally knew that they were together!" Sabrina exclaimed.
"I wouldn't go that far," Rachel added.
"Anyway, I'll have to update my blog."
Of course Sabrina is wanting to follow after her Mum. So last year she started a gossip blog. It's not any old celebrity gossip blog, but a blog filled with rumours and secrets of students at our school. Sabrina even gave a handful of students from younger grades the job to sniff around and getting hold of any juicy gossip then forward it on to Sabrina. Obviously, most teachers and administration staff have tried in vain to find the owner of the blog, but failed, as Sabrina goes under an anonymous name and blocks the ability to access the location of her computer.
The worst rumour we had ever started was six months ago when I found a girl in our grade called Libby, attempting to cut her wrist with a piece of a broken beaker in the girl's bathroom. I would have kept her secret if Sabrina hadn't have been there. Two days later, Libby was found in her wardrobe by her little sister. Dead.
I'm forever guilty of my actions. Although I wasn't the one who posted on the blog, I should have said something to Sabrina. Told her not to post it. Saved an innocent life.
For a month afterwards, I didn't sleep, I could barely eat. And Sabrina acted as though nothing was wrong. Rachel and Chloe and Cassie began to worry about me. So did mum. And of course, Will.

I was sitting a my desk trying to do my English assignment when I heard a rustle outside my bedroom window. Then a knock sounded on the glass. I got up and cautiously walked towards it, thinking someone was trying to break in.
"Ow!" A familiar voice exclaimed. I opened my window and peered down into the branches of the tree next to my window.
"Jesus, Will. What the hell are you doing here?" I asked as my boyfriend pulled himself on to a branch level with me.
Will, apart from Rachel and Chloe are the only people who know where I live. Everyone else thinks I live on the richer side of the suburb, where all the mansions are. Where people like Sabrina live.
"Visiting," he replied, jumping through my open window and into my bedroom.
"There's something called a door and there's one downstairs. Maybe you should try using it sometime."
"Wow. I've never heard of that before," he said in fake confusion.
"Idiot." I giggled, sitting down on my bed. "What brings you here at this fine hour on a Friday night?"
"I wanted to see you."
"So you decided to make the five kilometre journey at eleven o'clock at night to see me?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow.
He shrugged. "Yeah, pretty much."
"That's nice to know," I shivered from the cold breeze floating into my bedroom from the open window.
"I got it," Will said, noticing what I was looking at and got up and closed it.
"Thanks," I replied as he lay down and wrapped his arms around me so I fell on top of him.
"Tease," he chuckles as I rolled off of him and snuggled beside him.
"Shut up," I giggled.
"What would your Mum do if she found out that I snuck into your bedroom?" He asked.
"I dunno. It's never happened before."
"Interesting."
"I'm knackered," I said, yawning. "Can you stay?"
"Anything for you," he whispered, gently kissing my forehead then quickly getting up to switch off my desk lamp, leaving my room in darkness. "I love you, Gracie," he whispered, climbing back beside me.
"I love you, too," I replied, allowing myself to slowly drift asleep whilst Will played with the ends of my hair.
