"MAMA DID YOU SEE SHEIKH MOHAMMED BIN ZAYED GO TO MY SISTER'S FRIEND'S HOUSE ?!"
I screamed as I ran through the empty hall of our house and straight to the kitchen where my mom was cooking a traditional UAE dish (harees, search it up).
"I did, and btw she's so lucky mashalla, sheikh Mohammed is such a nice guy" she continued "maybe next time he'll come to our house too"
I sighed "I wish".
Look everyone loves sheikh Mohammed and appreciates him, but i have this love to him that can't ever be described cause I never saw him in real life since I'm a teenage Emirati girl that isn't supposed to talk to grown men (love or not). But he's a sheikh for goodness sake!!! I really want to meet him, hug him and tell him how much he means to me. So basically, it's just like how people love shawn mendes or harry styles ( they are my celeb crushes rn so excuse me) .
Anywho, I never met a sheikh before in my life and I pray to god that I meet one.
Later that day
(Btw guys it's 2nd of December our national day)
So mama decided that we should go to celebrate the national day in the corniche, the busiest place in Abu Dhabi when it's national day, it's mostly consisted of teenage guys that try to flirt with women, blast Emirati songs and spray people with the string thingy. The police always tries their best to stop them but they can't cause the guys never listen.
Back to what I was saying
I've always wanted to go to the official national day celebration in zayed sport stadium where they do a play to show us what uae was before so it's basically fun and interesting, I wanted to go last year but I learnt about the event late so I decided to go this year, but my slow and late self procrastinated on buying the tickets until the day before the event, that's when I was literally panicking and looking for websites that had the tickets. I didn't really care about the price since I want to see the show badly and did I forget to mention that SHEIKH MOHAMMED BIN ZAYED will attend as well as sheikh Mohammed bin rashed and sheikh hamdan bin Mohammed bin rashed.
Yep a lot of sheikhs there, but long story short, the tickets were sold out and I couldn't find a way to go so I had to go celebrate in the corniche with all those cringey guys. (No offense to anyone)
