Darkness shall rise

Abigail's P.O.V.

       We were all helping to clean up after the Great Devourer incident; Lloyd and I were picking up some trash on the ground and help fix things. Since we were young, not many people trusted us to do some things. "Man, I thought ninja didn't need to clean," Lloyd said when he put more trash in the trash can and I said, "being a ninja isn't easy, Lloyd, even ninja have to help clean up after their battles."

       "They never said that in books or stuff like that," Lloyd said and I said, "that's because books are not always right." Lloyd shrugged his shoulders and we both continued to clean up; while we walked around to find trash on the ground, Lloyd asked, "so, you and Kai are getting closer, huh?" That made me blush a little and Lloyd then said, "I knew it, you like Kai-" "Keep your voice down," I said interrupting Lloyd, "having a crush on someone isn't a big deal."

      "Isn't a big deal?!" Lloyd said shocked and I said, "yes, besides, since I'm the light green ninja, I shouldn't need to be hooked up on love." "What's this about hooked up on love?" I heard someone ask behind me which made me quickly turn around to see who it was; it was Julia. "Uh hey Julia," I said nervously, "um, we were talking about nothing." "If you were talking about nothing," Julia said, "the words, 'hooked up on love,' wouldn't have been said." "Abigail has a crush on someone," Lloyd said and I yelled, "Lloyd!"

       "Aw, isn't that cute," Julia said excited then asked, "who is it?" If I tell her it's Kai, she'll tell him in a matter of an quick second. "No one you know," I said while blushing, "besides, it's not a big deal, like I said to Lloyd." "Actually, it's a really big deal," Julia said then asked, "the thing is, why don't you tell him?" "I can't, he probably likes someone else," I said, "he'll probably have no interest in me." I looked over at Kai who was trying to help the guys out; he might like another girl, and I wouldn't know. "You'll never know unless you try," Julia said, "that's how I got together with Nathan."

        Julia wasn't wrong there; "alright," I said, "I'll tell him when the time is right." I then saw Katie walk over to us and said, "come on you three, important meeting with the guys." We all walked over to where the guys were and Katie said to us, "the others girls and I were talking, and we came up with an idea to try to find the temple we lived in before we moved in with the guys." "Is it still around?" Julia asked and Caroline said, "from what Zabrina said, yeah, it's definitely around."

      "It's going to take a while, so, the problem is," Katie said, "the girls and I would have to leave for a while." "For how long?" Kai asked and Katie said, "not long, and if Abigail wants to, she could stay with you guys." "Really?" I asked excitedly and Katie said, "of course, you never seem to leave Lloyd behind anywhere." I looked at Lloyd and he looked at me with a happy look on his face; "I'll stay with the guys," I said and Katie nodded in agreement.

      "But where would we live in the meantime?" Jay asked and I heard someone say, "I may have found one." We all then saw Nya and Uncle Wu riding one motorcycle, and Nathan riding another; where the heck did they get the motorcycles? "Really," Jay asked, "but there's a waiting list a mile long, how did you do that?" "I know a guy who knows a girl," Nya said, "she knows this girl who knows a guy." "The point is," Nathan said, "the guy knows a girl who's a real estate agent who would help you guys find a place to live."

      "And where are you three off too?" Julia asked; Uncle Wu told us that they were going to find some things to fix the ninja tank and get the Dragon Ointment that had just arrived, which would take a day's trip. Uncle Wu said he wanted to go with Nya and Nathan because he loves roadtrips. "Punch it Nya!" Uncle Wu said and Nya said, "aye, aye, Sensei!" And with that, Nya, Uncle Wu, and Nathan, rode away on their motorcycles.
