Chapter 1

I stare at the window as I'm eating my lunch and then I think to myself "why am I eating by myself in the art room , I should be eating with my friends" but then I realize "oh wait I don't have any friends". I used to have a friend named Rebecca , but the peer pressure got to her and at the end of last year she ditched me. She actually reminds me of heather McNamara from the movie Heathers because she's really sweet and nice but can also be a real douche. Suddenly someone opens the door , it was Vivian , Skylars friend. Oh I forgot to tell you who Skylar is , she's the most popular girl in school , in her eyes everyone loves her but in my eyes everyone hates her. "Why are you eating your lunch in the art room" Vivian asked. "Oh just trying to avoid all the assholes in this school as much as possible" I said sarcastically. "Well instead of eating in here and getting chalk dust in your sandwich why don't you eat lunch with us". "What's the catch" I asked. "Skylar will tell you when we get into the cafeteria let's go" she said. As we stepped foot into the cafeteria Skylar ran up to us "finally you're here because we need to talk". We sat at a table and Skylar said " ok first off i need to know are you a boy or a girl". I knew she would ask that , every time I meet someone they always ask "are you a boy or a girl" but even though I'm not exactly out yet , if she must know I'll tell her. "Actually I'm nonbinary" "what the hell is that" Skylar asked. "It's where I identify as neither a boy or a girl" she rolled her eyes as if she didn't believe what I was saying but then went back to what she was saying. "Well since we're letting you sit with us you need to do something in return". "What do you want" I asked. "Your friends with Rebecca are you" she asked. "We used to be" I said. "Do you know her locker combination" she asked "yeah why". "Well let's just say that me and her got into a little fender bender and she needs to be taught a lesson" she said. I then knew what she wanted me to do , but that's where she keeps her diary that has all her dirtiest secrets , I know because I've read her diary. I thought about saying no but then i reconsidered "what do I get in return" I asked. "Oh my god you're so demanding , fine if you do this I can get you into the biggest party of the year" she said "and what party is that" I asked. "Duh Skylars annual Halloween party" Vivian said "I still don't know if I should do this though" I said. "Oh come on didn't it hurt when she ditched you to become popular , wouldn't you like to just get some dirty revenge on her". I thought about it for a minute but then agreed "fine" I said. "Oh by the way I never caught your name" "it's Robin , Robin Kirk" I said. "Should I call you boy wonder then" she asked as they both laughed. As I rolled my eyes in annoyance the bell had rung and it was time to get back to class. As I was walking towards the door someone tripped me "get out of our school fag" they said and then walked away. Dear life why do you hate me.
