Marina Ryan loved looking at the ocean, it reminded her of home which she missed dearly.

She sat on the bench on the edge of the cliff for sometimes hours on end, just watching, with her music in her ears and thoughts running through her mind.

Marina knew she would have to get to work soon as it was 6:30 am and work started at 7:30. This meant she had 20 minutes to get to her small, run down, apartment on the outskirts of the city. She would then have a further 40 minutes to get ready and get to work. She worked 5 days a week for around 8 hours a day.

She got up and continued her jog along the cliff and in towards the city.

After an 8 hour shift at the small cafe she worked at, she finished up and went home to get ready for gymnastics which started at 4:30 pm, so she had about an hour of free time to get ready and walk to the gym.

As she got to the gym, she found her coach Sam with the rest of the group. She greeted them and went to put her bag in her locker. After re joining the group they got into training.
This small group of girls were Marina's closest friend in the city as she didn't get many chances to meet anyone else and she cared for them a lot.

After spending 4 hours training, she headed home, ready for a good nights rest and for the daily routine to start again.

This was a normal daily routine for Marina since she moved to a small city in Europe when she was just 17 years old. With no family back home, she felt that she needed to get away.

Marina found her love for gymnastics back home when one of her families friends had taught her a handstand, and had been self taught up until she moved to the city and found a gym near her apartment. Marina hadn't bothered enrolling in a school when she moved as she believed that she had learned everything she would need back at home.

Marina isn't a very open person and doesn't share her feelings with anyone but if she did use any word to describe her feelings while living her life in the city she would say that it was content. There is no drama and no pain, not like what she felt back home....

Sorry, can't do cliffhangers and the story is probably super boring so far but I hope it'll get better.
