We're standing in front of our first challenge together and let me tell you something it is not pretty.
So we were just walking and minding our own business when we stopped at the entrance of what looked like a haunted house.
Funny enough I don't think we can go around it. There's a fence around the house and just as we were about to go in these things showed up.

I can feel the fire that they have. The red fire is fire directly from Riftus. Only I can put it out but it's a lot of work.
The blue fire is the eternal ice fire of Krystel. This is one of the strongest fires which is ironic since I live in the fire Kingdom.
These "skull people" don't talk. They haven't spoken to us since we got here. We thought they were just guards are something.
Maybe they were trying to make sure that we were "worthy" or something.
But no. Every time we take a step they growl. It's quite a weird sound but still scary nevertheless.
"Okay....so what exactly are you guys here to do coz like...." Skyler traiked off.
The skull with the Krystel eternal fire snarled at her. I'll just call him Blue and the other Red.
Skyler narrowed her eyes. "Do you speak Bluehead? Or do you snarl at everyone who tries to be nice. I gotta get through that door okay and you're going to let me get through that door or there will be trouble"
Red head stepped forward but Skyler didn't step down she too took a step forward and glared at the skull.
"We are the keepers of The Palace Of The Past. We know why you have come here and we refuse to grant you entrance until you deem yourselves worthy" Blue head said
I rolled my eyes. Seriously.
Skylers pov
"Oh now you speak" I mumbled.
"Skyler wa-" Jack was cut of by the Blue skull who launched a huge blue fire ball at him.
Quickly filling my palms with ice I was about to return the hit when Red hit me with a fire ball. And shit did that burn.
Jack layed on the floor while the small fire turned bigger and bigger. He screamed in pain.
Why was it burning him?
I stood uo to help me but Red hit me with another blow. Another scream of pain came from Jack. I watched in horror as the flame covered almost his whole arm it wasn't fast at burning to skin but it was still effective.
"Jack hold on" I said standing up. But once again Red hit me down. Thats it assholes.
My ice wings were back. My body temperature dropped considerably and my hair grew longer. I raced to Jack in attempt to put out the fire but Red blocked my way.
He blew fire through his mouth but i managed to dodge it racing for Jack again. This time Blue stood in front of me but he didn't do anything.
Suddenly I felt a sharp pain at my side. Red had hit me again but this time my powers weren't saving me. I fell to the ground screaming pain.
Jacks blue fire was now slowly piercing through his skin but he still shuffled towards me. "Sky...s-stay with me" he said.
Stupid he's worrying about me when he is also burning.
I didn't answer though. I was still screaming in pain. I've never felt anything so painful. I felt as if my insides were burning as well which says a lot since the red fire hasn't broken through my skin yet.
"Sky..." i heard Jack whisper. I was still screaming. "Sky!!!" His voice was urgent but I couldn't focus. Everything burned.
"Arista?"
That was the last thing I heard before drifting off into unconsciousness.

Yayy an update.😚😚Man it took ages to find a place with signal. It's like I'm in a desert *dramatically rolls eyes*
Anyway I'll try and update sooner also if not take this as your early Christmas gift.
Sorry its so short.
Btw now I'm sure that this book is almost done.
It was longer than i wanted but i think I'll manage. After this I'm focusing on The Vampire Jerk and a new book I'm working on but i think I'll only publish it after or when The Vampire Jerk is coming to an end.
