"Alice" naibulong ko.
Bakit? Paano?
"Please lang Ellie wag ka ng magtanong ok? Ikaw na lang umalam. Alis na ko" sabi ni John.
Kaya ba mukang palaging pagod si John pag umuuwi? Kaya ba parang andami nyang problema? Paanong naging si Alice ang ate ni Nate?
"Mommy are you gonna work?" Nagulat na lang ako ng nasa tabi ko na pala si Annie.
This angel. She's a treasure.
"Yes baby. I will return later ok? Just behave. I will pasalubong you a donut ok baby?" I said habang inaayos ang buhok nya.
She looks like a doll. Pinaghalong muka ni John at Alice.
"Yey. Thank you mommy" she said while hugging me.
At the office.
"Goodmorning maam" the guard says.
Fortunately mabait ako ngayon kaya ayaw ko munang magfire ng tauhan. I rolled my eyes on the guard.
Tsk .
"John David Dela Torre" i said. The girl in the lobby just look at me from head to toe then smile
"Sorry maam but do you have any appointment today?" She said.
I got irritated. This girl is really getting on my nerves.
"Excuse me?" I said in irritated tone.
"Maam sorry pero kung wala po makakaalis na kayo" she said.
"Excuse me but if you doesn't know I am Fielimorphe Trinidad one of the board member of this company and the owner of Gonzales Enterprises. Now kung hindi mo ko bibgyan ng pass card sisisantihin na kita agad agad. At sisiguraduhin kong wala ka ng mapapasukan pang trabaho understand? NOW BITCH GIVE ME THE PASS CARD OR ELSE..." i said in a bitchy tone.
Namutla naman yung babae at mukang nagulat. Agad syang humingi ng tawad at binigay ang pass card pero di ko sya pinansin at dire diretso akong sumakay sa elevator. This is probably my worst first day of work. B*llsht.
At kung napansin nyo ako na rin ang may ari ng Gonzales' Enterprises. Nakuha ko sya 1 year after kong magpunta sa States pero di ko sya hinahandle muna. Board members lang ang naghahandle non. Pero last month lang bago ako umuwi sa Pilipinas I informed them na babalik na ko.

As i heard the elevator agad akong dumiretso sa conference room. My mga narinig akong nagsisigawan at nagiiyakan.
So ito pala ang aabutan ko sa first day ko? What an epic comeback huh!
I slammed the door damn loud and walk confidently infront. I saw John smirk and all of them got shocked. Sino ba naman kasi ang magaakalang ang heiress ng Gonzales' Enterprises ay kabilang sa board members ng Dela Torre Enterprises diba?
Now i get it! Plinano to ni John para paglaruan ang pamilya ni Nate.
What a smart move John. I grin on him then face the family who breaks me into thin shit pieces.
"Woah. So the Tan's are here huh! By the way Im Fielimorphe Trinidad or formerly known as Anikka Gonzales your unico hijo's ex girlfriend" and flashed a fake smile on them.
And they're faces? Damn. Its priceless.
"A-anikka..?" Alice said.
"No! Alice, Its Ellie" i bitterly said. She tricked me and i hate it. She doesn't deserve to be Annie's mother.
"Okay so can we start the meeting? Ellie and I are very busy person so i guess let's proceed by the way" John said while smirking.
He's indeed smart. Well, perks of being a Dela Torre.
"So paano napasok ang isang Gonzales sa kompanya mo Mr. Dela Torre?" Sabi ni Mr. Tan
"As you can see she have shares in my company that's why nakapasok sya. Look Mr. Tan if you're going to question my decisions here you're free to go" John said seriously.
Di na naman nakasagot si Mr. Tan kaya nagpatuloy si John. The board meeting is a bit boring. Puro sya stocks and funds. Overall money is the main topic here.
Kaya naman yung natapos yon agad agad akong tumayo at nagayos ng gamit. Probably alam na ni John na nabobored na ko at naiirita na ko sa paulit ulit na stocks and funds.
Nang makalabas na lahat ng board members natira ang pamilya ni Nate at agad akong kinausap. No! Hindi pala SINIGAWAN ang tawag don.
"You bitch. Talagang pumasok ka pa dito para makapaghiganti samin ha. Ganyan ka ba kapatay na patay sa anak ko ha?" Galit na sabi ni Mrs. Tan
I regain my myself. I need to calm down.
"Well if that's the case madame i would like to inform you that i dont fall inlove with a playboy, a cheater. And lastly hindi ako pumapatol sa mga sipsip at plastic. Lalo na sa mga manloloko naiintindihan nyo? Im too high to stoop down to your level Madame so please excuse me" i said innocently.
I hate that family. Agad agad akong lumabas ng conference room at nag powder room. Di pa ko nagtatagal doon ay biglang pumasok si Alice.
"Ellie" she said.
Alam kong si Annie ang pinunta nya dito. Its her fault! Obvious naman na di alam ng mga magulang nya na may anak na sya.
"Ano? Tatanungin mo ba kung kamusta si Annie? Well if that's what you need i would like to inform you that i can't say anything to you. I promise John simula ng umalis ka hindi ka na ang ina ni Annie. Matagal na syang patay, dahil ang totoong ina di makakayanang iwan ang sarili nyang anak" i said to her. Then leave Alice there gaping.
She deserves that. Ang ikahiya ang isang anghel ay katangahan. Siya ang pumili ng tadhana nya kaya wala na kong pakialam don.
"How's the first day huh?" John said while smirking.
Andito kasi ako sa office nya. Dito daw muna ko dahil mamaya pa daw nya ko ipapakila. Tss
"Stop smirking! You look like an idiot. By the way di ako nainform drama pala ang aabutan ko sa first day ko" sabi ko.
"Baliw. Nagulat ka ba?" Tanong nya sakin.
"Kung nagulat sa pamilya ni Nate? Hindi. Pero kay Alice? Oo. Ano ba talaga ang nangyari ha John? Kailan ka pa nagsikreto?" Medyo inis kong tanong sa kanya.
Natahimik sya. Tila may malalim na iniisip.
"Alam mo Ellie minsan may mga bagay na di mo na dapat alamin" seryosong sabi nya.
Di ko maintindihan si John. Nitong mga nakaraang araw parang may sinisekreto sya. Nakakatakot ang aura nya ngayon kaya naman lumabas muna ko ng di nagpapaalam.
Ano ba talagang nangyayari sayo John?
