-Prologue
Xiao Zhan slapped his face for the third time and directly looked at his reflection in the mirror. A mess. He thought and tried to lift the corners of his lips up using his two pointed fingers, to form a smile. But it didn't work out at the moment.
He shook his head down and felt the seething tears dropped from his bloodshot eyes again. Xiao Zhan tightly held on the freezing cold sink for support. The melancholic song being played outside the bathroom didn't calm his nerves either.
"Please forgive my existence. If ever I'll meet you next lifetime, I promise I'll walk the other way for us to stay strangers and invisible from each other. I'm sorry..." He spoke too loud for his ears to hear.
If only these solid walls could stop the pain and everything that caused him to do this...if only these walls could send his last words to that person...
