Ethereal descended from the heavens. Following him was Skyward, Starward, Waterbringer, Firetamer, and Nature. The Celestials brought their powers together to create a planet, one that would suite their image. The long, snake-like draconian beings rested upon the soil and grass and put their powers together once more. This time, they created an empty slate, a being they filled with their infinite knowledge and wisdom. This was the first of the gods, a being that could change shape freely and who's more intimate details were unknown. This being, Sol, became the god of knowledge and craft. Thousands of years later, after Sol's training had been completed, the Celestials once again brought all of their power together to create a female nord blessed with the power to establish order and with a lawful nature. They named this fierce leader Mjohvir, the goddess of Order and Law. With Mjohvir came a byproduct, a male high elf blessed with keen judgement and a righteous sense of justice. They named this peacekeeper Anarar, the god of Judgement and Justice. They and Sol were the first of Eth's Celestial children, and they would not be the last.
After Mjohvir and Anarar grew, the Celestials continued their work. Next came Vivni, a female dark elf with a mischievous mind. Thus came the goddess of betrayal and conspiracies. After her, Starward focused her own powers to create a god in her image. Then came the nords Zevion and the byproduct Serfa. Zevion was created with the moon in mind, and Serfa as a byproduct was the sun. Zevion became the god of the Moon and archery, and Serfa the goddess of the sun and music. However, Zevion's connection with the moon came with a cost; He was a man-beast, half man, half wolf. With the help of Starward, Zevion gained complete control over his beast nature and could even control the exact stages he wanted. The birth of these two came infighting, and the Celestials called them together. Ethereal informed them that byproducts are just as much gods as they are, and they are to be treated with respect. The gods understood, but Mjohvir disagreed.
After raising these gods for a while, the Celestials continued their work. Firetamer worked on his own to bring about Dumag, an orc born with an intense bloodlust and a love for chaos. Dumag was named the god of war and chaos. If his bloodlust reached extremes, Dumag could grow massive in size. As he grew, so did his max height. When the Celestials were working to create their next god, Skyward was interrupted in concentration, and the result suffered. From this mistake came Faiver, a female nord who was insane but creative. Her masterpieces involved very strange ingredients, typically blood. Faiver was named the goddess of insanity and art. Next came the nord Epros, a joining of Starward and Ethereal's power. Epros was gifted with the ability to see into the future, but also with a very secretive personality. He became the god of oracles and deceit. The next to come was Sircis, a demonkin with deep reddish-brown skin and barely visible horns that hide under his hair, who brought out the darker sides of the rest of the gods. He was deemed the god of hedonism and wine, both of which he indulged often. His creation brought difficulties in getting the gods to behave, but Mjohvir usually kept them in line.
The next god that was brought about was an orc named Hroakgnak, an ambitious god who sought to bring about change in the most necessary manner. He was named the god of ambition and change. He was caring, but was not afraid to use force when he deemed it necessary. He enjoyed the spotlight, but he was so passionate about his causes that no one minded. After this creation, Nature decided to attempt her own. She created Seryna, a dark elf who was known for her sweetness and generosity who was also in touch with nature and renewal. She became the goddess of fertility and harvest, and she wore her title well. The Celestials came together again to create the next being, a Rinzinian named Almare. These people were blessed with incredible proficiency in life magics, though they were almost identical to nords. Rather be resistant to colder temperatures and having pale skin as a result, the Rinzinian was resistant to warmer temperature and had rich, darker skin. Almare was understanding and considered himself fair, and was named the god of rebirth and fairness.
The Celestials considered if their work was done, but they decided they wanted to create just a little more, a being who was meant to benefit the mortals as a whole. As a result, Astrina was created. As a high elf, Astrina was talented in magics and potions of all kind, and so, she became the goddess of the arcane and alchemy. She was generous and would go on to share her gift with all of the intelligent lifeforms the gods went on to create. With Astrina, the Celestials rested and watched the gods interact.
A few thousand years later, after the Celestials decided the gods were ready to be on their own, they created one last being: a young nord for them all to look after. She was meant to be the ultimate test of what they could do with their powers and their personalities, as well as to test if they could manage to raise and entire population. Yena was a blessed child, but also mischievous. She was named the goddess of stealth and luck, and as a child, frequently used both to her advantage. After the gods had proven they could manage on their own, the Celestials left, and all was calm.
The personalities would grow, become more clear, expand, and change as they grew themselves.
