New batch has started.
Everyone seems happy. Those girls who have never been out of their house till grade 10 find it exciting.
The old hostel has got new life with their smiles and laugh. The corridors aren't empty anymore. Students and parents are enjoying the scenes near AMU provost office. For parents it is really great for their children to pass AMU entrance exam and to get admission in this prestigious University.
Among these girl is our protagonist who wanted to stay low as she has got past which she don't want to tell anyone but she can't hide it because girls will talk about it and there will be rumors. And she can't escape it.
Meanwhile everyone's parents are there to send their girls hostel and bid goodbye , she is there alone. None to be proud of her accomplishment. She secured all India rank 9 in AMU science stream all on her own without any help from corrupt and elite coaching centres.
Her uncle(mom's brother) who is a doctor by profession and work in an Emergency department in AMU and a very handsome married man in his late 30's was there to send her to hostel. She is looking around taking in all those memories from last year when she was here with her sister. But All she can see is girl's staring at her which for sure she got wrong as those girls are too busy checking out her uncle who is standing right behind her.
"All okay"
"Hmm" she replied even though she didn't mean it but nothing good is going to happen if she say no.
She bid goodbye to his uncle and asked the Rikshawala to move.
Meanwhile our other protagonist hailing from Kashmir is still stuck in Kashmir because of curfew caused by Burhan Wani's death. She couldn't make it to the general admission going in AMU so she have to travel in night ,more like escape , so that she could make it in AMU admission through distant quota. Although she couldn't qualify the entrance exam of AMU science stream but somehow she qualified Arts stream and she have to get admission there in order to have future which is surely in danger there.
