Chapter 4

It was the last month of September, Coraline's parents' woke up ate breakfast they got ready for their first day of work nervously. "Coraline can you get my lunch" father said in a sick voice. "Sure dad anything for you" Coraline said in a sarcasm voice. She gave the lunch to her father and they left for their work. "what should I do today?" Coraline said. "Maybe I should start cleaning the kitchen first I should do some responsibility in this house" Coraline said. While she was cleaning up she heard a voice saying "My dear Coraline you left me alone In this dark old kitchen" but she ignored it she thought it was her imagination being goofy. When Coraline was done cleaning up the messy and smelly kitchen she started phoning her friend

"Hey Carla can I come over" Coraline said.
"Sure Coraline" Carla said.
Coraline went out of the door locked the door and started blotting over Carla's house. Coraline knocked on the door it was no answer she knocked again Carla's father opened the door "Hey Coraline you could come in Carla is just getting ready Hun" Carla's father said. "Oh, ok," Coraline said. She sat on the couch waiting politely with no sound but making a weird and goofy face while waiting. "Hey Coraline sorry for the wait girl" Carla said. "It's ok it wasn't long" Coraline said. "What should we do and sorry if my house is messy we are doing renovation" Carla said. "No wonder it's really messy haha it's ok I really don't care" Coraline said. Carla and Coraline started playing their favorite game when they were little good girls. Someone from the back off Carla pulled her back "OMG HELP ME SOMEBODY IS PULLING ME!" Carla said yelling out loud for help. "OMG ARE U OK" Coraline said. "I'm ok what about you? what was that" Carla said. "Oh Carla I'm glad your safe OMG that was scary" Coraline said. "umm should we go upstairs" Carla said sadly. They went upstairs for protection all they needed they were still thinking about who pulled Carla back it was freaky."Carla I think I should go home" Coraline said. "Oh why was it because that thing happened" Carla said. "Oh no it's because my parents are almost coming from work and they don't know I'm here sorry bye" Coraline said quickly. "BYE" Carla said. Coraline was rushing to get home she opened the door and she realized that her parents already came home "Young lady were have you been I worried sick about you" her mother said in a anger voice. "Mom I'm sorry I was getting some books from the library for my project" Coraline said with an excuse for not getting in trouble. "Your suppose to ask permission if you could go alright this is your first strike next time you do that if you don't that again your grounded young lady" her mother said in plainly anger. "Ok mother I won't do that next time I promise" Coraline cried. She went in the living room and slept there for today.
