Me and my brother Aaron late for school for the first time. The bell rang soon after we've arrived the Marymount School of New York, just beside the Central Park. We went in the class and saw Miss Avery, our class teacher with a large mole on her face. She ask the both of us,
"Kids, why are you late to school?"
Aaron answer,
"Our parents woke up late"
Again, Miss Avery asked me,
"Aeryl.....that's your name right?"
As if she's going to kick my butt. I answered,
"Yes, Miss"
And she ask the same question that she ask my brother, Aaron,
"Why are you late to school then"
I was so scared and I answer her,
"Actually.........we woke up late Miss."
I was so scared until I almost piss my pants. Miss Avery told us,
"Hmm.....it's ok..... well this is your last warning. Or else you'll face the principal yourselves."
I'm glad that Miss Avery gave us a chance to redeem ourselves. We search our way to find two empty sits for me and my brother. I ask a student about the class schedule. He gave me a slip by saying,
"Here's the schedule,mate"
With his mother's tongue of a British accent, I bet he is Englishman.
"Would you like to eat with me during recess?"
I'm surprised. I didn't say a word, but I met a new friend. Well......just only one this time. I ask Aaron if he want to hang out with him during recess. He says ok. He's so friendly. I thought when getting in a new school may start a new enemy. Well.....don't judge me.....because I see a lot of school movies and series fiction. Well.....this is just one friend. Who knows I might have more after I met him. This is just the starting of "my dearly friendship".
