Tuesday at Glee club practice:

"OK, who wants to start things off today?" Will asked. "I'll go Mr. Schue." Joe said. "Take it away then." Will instructed. Joe stood up and began to sing:

Start spreading the news
I'm leaving today
I want to be a part of it
New York, New York

These vagabond shoes
Are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it
New York, New York

I wanna wake up in a city
That doesn't sleep
And find I'm king of the hill
Top of the heap

These little town blues
Are melting away
I'll make a brand new start of it
In old New York

If I can make it there
I'll make it anywhere
It's up to you
New York, New York

New York, New York

I want to wake up in a city
That never sleeps
And find I'm a number one
Top of the list
King of the hill
A number one

These little town blues
Are melting away
I'm gonna make a brand new start of it
In old New York

And if I can make it there
I'm gonna make it anywhere
It's up to you
New York, New York, New York!!!

"Yeah!" The Glee club cheered and applauded Joe's performance. "That was better than a New Year's Eve party." Scott joked. "I don't see any confetti falling." Kitty said, playing into it. "One thing's for sure, that got me into the mood for Nationals. New York is quite a city." Marley said smiling. "Great job Joe." Will said. "OK, who wants to go next?" "I'll go Mr. Schue." Myron said. "You're on." Will replied. Myron stood up and began to sing:

Out of the tree of life I just picked me a plum
You came along and everything's startin' to hum
Still, it's a real good bet, the best is yet to come

Best is yet to come and babe, won't that be fine?
You think you've seen the sun, but you ain't seen it shine

A-Wait till the warm-up's underway
Wait till our lips have met
And wait till you see that sunshine day
You ain't seen nothin' yet

The best is yet to come and babe, won't it be fine?
Best is yet to come, come the day you're mine

Come the day you're mine
I'm gonna teach you to fly
We've only tasted the wine
We're gonna drain the cup dry

Wait till your charms are right for these arms to surround
You think you've flown before, but baby, you ain't left the ground

A-Wait till you're locked in my embrace
Wait till I draw you near
A-Wait till you see that sunshine place
Ain't nothin' like it here

The best is yet to come and babe, won't it be fine?
The best is yet to come, come the day you're mine

Come the day you're mine
And you're gonna be mine

The Glee club applauded Myron's performance. "Nice job Myron." Will said. "Alright we have time for one more performance today. Who wants to go next?" "I'll go Mr. Schue." Spencer said. "I'd like to dedicate this song to my girlfriend Madison." Madison smiled back at him as Spencer stood up and began to sing:

They call you "Lady Luck",
But there is room for a doubt.
At times you have a very unladylike way of running out.

You're on this date with me.
The picking's have been lush.
And yet before this evening is over you might give me the brush.

You might forget your manners
You might refuse to stay
And so the best that I can do is pray

Luck, be a lady tonight.
Luck, be a lady tonight.
Luck, if you've ever been a lady to begin with.
Luck, be a lady tonight.

Luck, let a gentleman see
How nice a dame you can be.
I know the way you've treated other guys you've been with.
Luck, be a lady with me.

A lady doesn't leave her escort:
It isn't fair, it isn't nice.
A lady doesn't wander all over the room
And blow on some other guy's dice.

Let's keep this party polite,
Never get out of my sight,
Stick with me, baby. I'm the fellow you came in with.
Luck, be a lady tonight.

Luck, let a gentleman see
Just how nice—, how nice a—, a dame you can be.
I know the way you've treated other guys you've been with.
Luck, be a lady with me.

A lady doesn't leave her escort:
It isn't fair, and it's not nice.
A lady doesn't wander all over the room
And blow on some other guy's dice.

So, let's keep the party polite,
Never get out of my sight,
Stick with me, baby. I'm the guy that you came in with.
Luck, be a lady.
Luck, be a lady.
Luck, be a lady tonight!!!!

"Yeah!" The Glee club cheered and applauded Spencer's performance. "They ought to take you to Vegas brother. With a performance like that, you'd be hanging with the high rollers." Scott quipped. Spencer gave him a friendly wink back. "Great job Spencer." Will stated. With that, the bell rang. "OK, that's enough for today. We'll see you guys tomorrow." Will said.

And that does it for Day#2 of Frank Sinatra week. I hope all you readers out there are enjoying this episode as much as I am.
