"I have to go." Michael sighed as we lay on the sofa, watching TV."What? No." I groaned as I looked up at him.
"Babe, I'm sorry, I've got to be in the studio really early tomorrow." He chuckled.
"You can always sleep over." I smiled. He chuckled again and shook his head as he stood up.
"I'm sorry, baby. Another time." He spoke, shrugging on his coat.
"Why not? It's as good a night as ever-."
"Baby, I really can't, I have...um...business to take care of." He gulped. My eyebrows furrowed, but I decided to go with his excuse.
"Alright." I nodded as I walked him to the door. He opened it and looked at me.
"I love you." He smiled, pecking my lips.
"Love you too. Text me when you're home." I spoke.
"Yup. I'll see you tomorrow." He smiled before shutting the door.
Michael's P.O.V
Michael walked along the street, blowing on his hands in a weak attempt to keep them warm. He groaned as he felt himself growing more hungry by the second. He was surprised that he had managed to reign it in enough to not hurt Y/N. After all, he hadn't fed off of anyone in a week. His lips curled into a smirk as he saw a young woman walking just ahead of him. He felt his urges take over as he felt his fangs poking through. He quickly walked to behind her and put a hand over her mouth, muffling her screams as he pulled her into an alleyway.
"Shush, shush, it's okay, it'll be over soon." He mumbled as he grazed his teeth over the skin on her neck.
"It's okay, princess, you're okay." He whispered before sinking his fangs into her neck. She screamed, but her pleas didn't make it past Michael's hand. Her attempts at escaping his grip got weaker as he continued to pull the blood from her veins.
"That's it." He hummed against her skin as she collapsed into his arms. He sighed, feeling her slowly stop moving completely. He hated killing people, but it was the only way to survive without giving more people the curse. He removed his teeth from her neck and gently laid her down.
"I'm sorry." He whispered, placing two fingers on her eyelids and gently closing her eyes. He sighed as he stood up and wiped the excess blood from his mouth with his sleeve. He looked around, making sure that nobody had seen him before he darted off into the night.
