Juliet POV
"Julie? Julie? JULIE!!" I hear a annoying voice waking me up, I want it to go away so I keep ignoring the voice. I roll on my side and sink into the soft mattress of my perfectly sized soft bed. It's like it was made just for me to get the best nights rest whenever I needed it. And I never want to get out of this heavenliness of warm sheets, blankets and pillows.
Then I start to shake, ugh I'm seriously going to murder this person that's ruining my beauty sleep that I desperately need from the sleepless nights I had.
I swear these teachers in college know that they are torturing us with tests all at the same time in the same week. Every. Single. Day.
I peek one eye open and see brown puffy hair that I know belongs to only one person. My roommate.
"Yay, you're awake now come on! I made breakfast for you and picked out your clothes for today. Oh I also-". she stops talking when I put my finger to her lips.
I pull my finger away quickly as soon as she narrows her eyes. I know that gesture, that's the Don't-you-ever-do-that-again look. The first time I did that she almost bit my finger clean off. I had black and blue teeth marks around my finger for days. I risk my finger everyday at least five times a day doing it.
She just talks so much, I told her once that she should change careers to becoming a speaker or a reporter or someone that talks a lot for a job. She said no, she's sticking to become her own boss of her own company.
I rub my eyes and sit up, swinging my legs over the side of my bed and yawn. "What time is it?" I ask with a raspy voice, I always hated when my voice sounded like that. It's just not me, I like my normal voice a lot better.
"OMG I swear if any guy heard your voice sound like that they would have their knees bent. I could just imagine them be like 'Juliet is so sexy when she sounds like that' or 'that was so cute' or 'that's such a turn on' but no. You have this mysterious boyfriend that I, you best friend forever and ever know nothing about!" She breathes out heavily.
That's right, I tell people that I have a boyfriend but know nothing about him because I actually don't have one. It's just easily that way.
"Don't worry so much, Maggie. You'll see him someday." I reassure her or more to myself.
"This is not the time to talk about my love life Mags." I tell her and she shows a look of surprise like she just remembered something.
"Oh yeah! You have a few classes today and the first one starts in 25 minutes so you better hurry!" She says and runs out of the room.
I walk over to my closet and see an outfit hanging on a drawer handle Maggie picked out for me.
It's ripped light skinny jeans with a peachy t shirt and white converse. The t shirt is a little big so I tie a knot to the side and tie my converse then roll the ends of the jeans up once.
When I turn around, I spot Alexander my Maine Coon gray kitten with white paws walking towards me. I pick him up carefully and he starts purring loudly. I giggle and lead him towards the bathroom. I set him on toilet lid and start to get ready.
I straighten my hair, put so eyebrow pencil coloring on and mascara. I then pick out my light pink lipstick and put it in one of my front pockets after I put some on. I open the cabinet underneath the sink and find my hair straightener.
After finishing doing my hair, I check myself in the mirror and approve of my appearance. Now it's just getting through the girls in the kitchen.
I head over there and find myself in the aroma of butter pancakes. Maggie's special recipe.
I find myself bee lining for the seat next to Camille Smith. She is a very beautiful girl, with her long blonde hair, crystal blue eyes and her spot on makeup she is perfect. She may look innocent with that makeup and tan skin but she really is the devil, she gets into trouble a lot. Pulling pranks, partying and whatever else she does. She's the trouble maker of the four of us.
I remember the first time we met, it's was my first day at college. She was running through the halls of college from her boyfriend four years ago. She asked me to help hide her and I did. The only problem is that I had to get rid of her boyfriend and that ended up him not liking me much especially after Camille became my first friend there.
Camille did start to notice how her boyfriend treated me and she ended up breaking up with him because it got so bad. He even said she had to chose me or him. He was so surprised when Camille chose me after all they have been in a relationship for six years.
"Hey sleepy." Camille turned towards me and smiled.
"Morning." I replied back with a small smile of my own, Alexander hops up on my lap and looks around the plate of almost finished food.
"Hey Romeo, hows little lover boy doing?" Camille asks petting the kittens head. Everyone in this dorm room calls him Romeo except me because he is so loving towards me and no one else. And I spoil him a lot. So his full name is Alexander Romeo.
"He's good as usual you know." I say casually shrugging my shoulders. "You have a early classes too?" I question because Camille's classes usually aren't until noon.
"No I actually got back a few minutes ago." I look of surprise crossed my face and she chuckled.
"You never change Cam." Mags says with a plate of pancakes and sets it in front of me.
"What can I say? It not my fault I pass out so easily at parties!" She exclaims.
Mags and I share a look, "Yes, yes it is your fault."
"Hey why are you teaming up against me?! Where's my teammate?! Snow!!" Camille yells.
"Shut up! Snow's sleeping right now. She had a late shift last night." Mags whisper yells at Camille.
"Oops. I forgot about that." Hehe she's so forgetful sometimes.
"Anyway, J do you want a ride or are you walking?" Camille asks me talking on her normal voice again.
"I'll ride with you." I say quickly.
"Okay we will leave in 10 minutes."
"In 5 actually if Julie wants to get it class on time." Mags cuts in.
Maggie is the mother of the apartment. She knows everyone's schedules, if it's sports practice, work or class. She makes sure our appearance is good and makes sure we eat and have everything necessary for when we leave the dorm building. She really is going to be an amazing business owner.
"Alright, finish up J." I take two more bites and toss my plate and silverware into the sink and rush back to bathroom and brush my teeth.
I head out of the bathroom and with Camille we hug Mags goodbye as she hands me my bag and leave the apartment.
