2. College

Juliet pov

Cami turns up the radio and lets rap music play loudly. I feel like the whole car is jumping up and down from the beats of the song.

"So whose party was it last night?" I ask, I bet it is one of the 'bad boys' party.

"Jaxon Locke of course, his parties are the best!" Cami squeals and grins. Jaxon Locke is a crazy guy, he will do any bet you told him with no problem. No matter how crazy or much trouble he gets into doing it, he never stops. I've only been to two of his parties, the first one was because it was Cami's birthday and he threw it for her. Yeah, they have some history that I don't know much about since I came here a year after her. The second time was because I lost a bet and had to pay the consequences. Anyway, everyone says and knows he throws the best parties and I admit they are pretty awesome, but do get out of hand very early in the night.  That's why I haven't been to any more than I already have.

"I know, Cami you never let me forget." I chuckle at her response as she pulls into a parking space.

"Because I can't express how much more awesomer they have gotten!!" She puts the car in park and switches off the car.

I make a weird face, "What are you doing, I thought you didn't have any classes?"

She smirks, "I don't but Jaxon does".  Creeper how does she know that?  Oh wait, I have some of the same classes he does in the mornings.

"Cami, you know that he doesn't attend most of them right?"  I ask but she just giggles and winks at me then gets out of the car. I got a bad feeling.

I follow after her as we enter the building.  We move around the halls and finally reach my lecture room.  Cami stands right outside and leans against the wall. 

"What are you doing?"  I asked and she sighs.

"Waiting, now go in."  She orders and I do as she says.

"Yes madam!"  I salute her and we both laugh a little.

I find a seat and settle my things down and look at the clock.  7:50.  The professor should be here in 10 minutes.  I'll just rest my eyes for a little bit.  

Few seconds later I feel someone's presence right next to me but ignore them.  They will just go away if I pretend I'm sleeping. 

But I was wrong they don't move, what the heck? 

"Hey, Juliet right?"  Familiar voice, kinda deep, I can tell he is full of himself with how he said my name all flirty. 

I think of males that I've talked to that know my name but only come up with a few.  Andrew isn't in this class with me so it's not him.  Ben is gone for this week to his grandparents house.  Kaden is a pervert and would have said something much more pervy like.  Josh would have woken me up and made fun of me for sleeping and Matthew is too mature to be talking to me when I'm trying to sleep.  He would wake me up a minute before class.  And the last male I've ever talked to here would be one of the bad boy's.  And I've only talked to one before, Jaxon. 

I open one eye and see none other than Jaxon.  He smiles and I mentally roll my eyes before closing my eye again.  

"Hey hey, come on girly!  I just have a question"  I reopen one eye and look at him, letting him know I am listening.  

"Is Cami outside?"   Okay I gotta admit I should have figured it out sooner.  That is why Cami was waiting outside and hurried me in then.  Humph!  Rushed me off to be with a player I see.  And since did males ever get to call her Cami?  She said she only allows her best friends to call her by her nickname.  

"Yes she is Jaxon."  I raise my head just in time before the professor came in.  I watch as Jaxon tries sneaking out but the professor catches him. 

"What do you think you are doing?  You are skipping way too many of my classes!"  He babbles dragging Jaxon by his collar back to his seat.

Hehe, Mrs. Hun is so awesome.  She always stands up to Jaxon, unlike the other lecturers.  It's funny though because they fight like this all the time, but don't seem to get seriously mad.  Oh yeah, Jaxon has a very bad temper.  He does get mad very easily and when he does its very violent.  

This one time, a rumor went around that Jaxon beat up a teacher and trashed his classroom all because the teacher interrupted his make out session with a girl.  And I can't believe one of my best friends is getting more friendly then usual with him.  

I can't really tell her not to date him if she really wants to but I'll still keep a close eye on him when I see him around.  

"Alright class!-" And the lecture begins.  I look around and see Jaxon pouting in his seat looking off to the side. Mrs. Hun really is amazing, she really is the only lecturer who Jaxon listens to.

Two things went on during the lecture, one Jaxon kept looking back at the door and texting on his phone.  The second thing is class was cut early today, which never happens.  Mrs. Hun got a phone call and when she ended it she rushed out saying class is over early.  

It worries me because Mrs. Hun has never been so worried and desperate looking.  I noticed, I'm not the only one who thought it was strange.  I follow behind some students out of the room and out the building.  My next lecture isn't for a few a few hours so I'll just head back to the apartment.  

I put my airpods in and begin listening to music as I walk.  What else should I do today?  I can start my biology essay that's due next week and have it done in a few days.  If Snow is up we could go shopping or get coffee together.  Oh and I should be getting a call from Kian tonight!  

Ahh!  I haven't heard from him in a while.  I can't wait!
