Juliet pov
Opening the door, I instantly smell the scent of bacon. That only means one thing, Snow is up! Snow eats bacon for breakfast almost every morning, we have told her its not healthy to eat it every morning but she says she doesn't care it tastes delicious!
It's kind of cute though, most of us stopped telling her soon after but Maggie doesn't forget to tell her every time. So they fight a lot, it is troublesome mostly but they do make up. The last time they fought they didn't make up for almost two full weeks. The air in the apartment was very tense and bothersome. After those two weeks, it was like nothing ever happened between the two of them.
I take my shoes off and enter the kitchen area. "Hey!" I call out to Snow and she smiles back at me. "Morning."
Snow is still wearing her pjs and her hair is still in bedhead style. She must've just woken up which does give me some time to start my essay at least.
"Hey, did your class get over early today?" Maggie asks walking into the kitchen.
"Uh, yeah" I mostly expected her to start yelling at Snow but she didn't give her a single glance. "Mrs. Hun suddenly got a call and said class was done for the day."
"Oh, that's why I got a notice that my class is cancelled later." Snow says, she has Mrs. Hun as a teacher too, we're just on different time schedules.
"Yeah, so I was thinking we could go shopping when you're ready." I look at Snow and she smiles, nodding her head in agreement.
"Yes! You know I'm always up for shopping!" Of course I know. It's why she works a lot too. She says "the more I work, the more money I get!" Which that's hard to disagree with.
In the end, she does get highly paid as a part time job as a caregiver. She loves it there. She has told me before that the elderly love her, and she loves listening to them. The men who went to war and the women who had a hard time back then. She says its inspirational.
She also has a nightshift job at a restuarant called The Crow. With the odd name, it is still very popular. Drowning with tourists and college students mostly as regulars. There will occasionally see families with kids go too. I can't deny the food is delicious and never disappoints. There is even VIP rooms, but no one has ever seen it used.
Except one person did, but after he spoke of it, he moved away a week later. After he left and didn't say a word why he was leaving, a unspoken rule was made. "Never speak of the VIP room" everyone knew it, even when tourists asked about it all anyone could say was, "It's getting redone." Even though it was lie, everyone who knew the truth, couldn't say anything.
"Great!" I smile and Snow puts a small plate of bacon in front of me that I gladly dig into. She also sits next to me with more bacon and a couple eggs. I swear she goes through at least a whole package of bacon every two days.

"Let's head out. I'm not waiting forever you know!" Snow yells as she stands right outside the driver's side door.
"She knows it was my idea to go shopping right?" I quietly say to Maggie as I finish tying my other shoe. She just shrugs. Right, Snow is always ready first to go shopping.
I stand up, grab my purse from Maggie and head to the sharp black Nissan Murano. Snow loves this car of hers. Especially since it has good gas mileage too.
I watch as Snow turns up the hip hop music her little tattoo of a snowflake on her pinky finger. That's how she got the nickname Snow.
Her actual name is also very pretty, Corrina White. Although she still prefers to be called Snow. So it always stuck and I'm pretty sure half the people think Snow is her given name.
"When we reach the mall, where do you want to go first?" I ask her and an instant smile appears.
"Nordstrom rack!" Of course that place. How could I forget? That's always her number one pick. Then she'll say any of the other stores is fine.
"As long as we go there, you can choose whatever stores you want." See? I knew it.
Snow pulls up to the mall and parks a bit farther out where there is no cars around. She is very careful about no damages to the car.
We both get out and walk side by side to the entrance. Snow zooms off on her own right away and I head towards the shoes section.
I love shoes and I have to always buy at least one pair whenever I go out shopping. It's an addiction, I will admit it. My roommates know it and never forget to tell me either.
I find the sandal section first and look through them all, picking a few up that I liked. I try them on but end up putting them all back. I head to the next aisle that is boots then heels and finally get to tennis shoes. I eye one pair that is pastel colors and try them on, taking a couple steps to see how they feel. It's perfect fit!
I take them off and pack them back in the box. I head over to the clothing section of jackets, thinking that's where Snow would be.
Once I get there, I spot Snow already with a couple hangers of clothes.
"Hey!" I call out to Snow and she glances up at me and smiles. Motioning me to come over and she shows me a jacket.
It's more like a sweatshirt with a zipper that begins half way in the middle. It's peachy pink on the outside but lighter pink on the inside. It has pockets on each side. I am totally getting this then.
"If you're not getting it, I'm giving it to Maggie." Snow says and I immediately take it off the rack.
"I'm getting it!"
She giggles and we head to jewelry.
