Channie invited me to town's annual carnival  and of course I said yes. I quickly threw on an outfit and head out the door, straight for the park. I'll admit it, I have a tiny tiny tiny crush on Channie and I think he feels the same way. Maybe I'm just delusional :(

By the time I finished my thought I arrived at the park. I couldn't find Channie so I waited for him on a bench.

Where the hell is he? It's almost 11...I called him, "Pick up Channie." Voice mail and only voice mails.

"Hey Channie...um just calling to make you we're still on for our carnival trip right?

Uh when you read this, call or text me back okay? After that I just kept waiting on that bench. Channie where are you? I'm starting to think he's not coming. Should I just go home? Okay if he doesn't show up after 30 minutes I guess I'll just leave.

DING! DING! DING! DING!
DING! DING! DING! DING!

Ugh I feel like shit. What the heck is the time??? I looked at my phone, it's 3 pm. 2 Missed calls and 8 missed messages all from Mia.

the carnival, i missed our trip- "OH FUCK," i screamed while running out the door. please answer my call mia- "HEY MIA! I'M SO SORRY, I JUSY WOKE UP AND I KNOW I'M REALLY LATE BUT IT'S OKAY BECAUSE I'M SPRINTING TO THE PARK-" mia cuts me off, "Channie it's okay, don't go to the park. I left a few hours ago."

i stopped running, "mia, i'm so sorry, i slept through all my alarms. maybe i can swing by your house or get you boba-"

"ITS OKAY CHAN I REALLY JUST WANNA BE ALONE RIGHT NOW."

"mia," i said slowly. i feel so bad, i have to make it up to her some how..chan you messed up big time

i went to a nearby cafe and picked up some goodies.
"one iced americano and jasmine green tea with boba please ^_^," i said to the cashier.

as i waited for the drinks, i walked around the cafe looking at the bakery goods. pineapple bun, those taiwanese triangle sandwiches, and strawberry cake.

"perfect" i whispered.
