A Date With Death

Maka's POV
*My Chemical Romance Starts playing*
*Maka yawns loudly* This music phone alarm is ten times better than the one that beeps over and over in a hypnotic frequency that shakes my soul wavelenth awake. At least it's Saturday, and I have all day to get ready for my date with Kid! EEEEEK! I'm so excited!!!! I never thought I, of all people would get asked out. I could feel myself getting hungry, so I walked out of my room to the kitchen.

Hmmm how about strawberry waffles? Yum. After about ten minutes of continuous mixing, stirring, and cooking I finish my breakfast. I was feeling so happy.

*Ding*

"Who would be texting me at 11:30 Am?" I say questionably. I rush over to my phone thinking Kid is texting me. I just get to my room and my cell starts ringing.

"Hey Maka!" Soul says eagerly. I form a questionable look on my face.

"Hey Soul? Why in the world are you calling me?" I am so confused what the hell is he calling me for?

"So I was thinking we should start on our report today maybe you wanted to come over?" He asked

"I don't know if I can, what time would you want me to come over?" This guy is so annoying... "Hmm maybe you can come over at eight, I will pick you up."

"Soul..."

"What?"

"You know Kid is going to pick me up at 8.... today" What the hell! Soul knew that!?!!?!

"Oh aha yea I'm so sorry I forgot. I guess I'll call you tommorrow bye." Did he just hang up like that? This kid is THE biggest headache I could ever know. I was so happy today and he calls and acts all innocent. Why would he call anyway? When has he ever called? In fact how did he get my number!" WAIT its already NOON I need to get ready!
(A hour and a half shower later)

"Ok so hair down? Hair up? What makeup! oooh I'm so excited!!!" I yelled into the mirror. I decide on a quick face mask, then some foundation and eye liner with fake eye lashes. Kid will be stunned when I come dressed like a quirky goth chick. Now my face is done I need an outfit. It has to be kind of casual because we are going to the movies but then also not too casual because it's a first date. OK, so how about some black short shorts with that cool chain thing... Then black tank top with a jacket on top with skulls on the sleeves. Finally, some black combat boots. YAY oh my gosh I'm so happy!!!! Best day ever! In all of my excitement, I forgot to look at the clock.
Oh no its almost 8!
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
I rush and to the door and open it.

"Hey beautiful" Kid says smiling.

"Hey cutie" I say giggling.

"You seem excited. Here I got you this" He said while revealing the rose from behind his back.

"This is so pretty!"

"Just like you" He said, I couldn't help but blush. I quickly put the flower in the vase and Kid escorted me to his black Ferrari. He opened the door for me, so sweet!

"So what movie are we going to see?"

"A Bloody Nightmare" He said grinning. I smiled wide.

"Sounds great" I love horror movies.

"You sure you can handle that?" He questioned me.

"That a challenge?" I laughed. After a long time we finnaly got to the theater. We got tickets and popcorn then we sat down in the back.

"You look stunning." He whispered at the lights dimmed.

"I knew you would like it." I couldn't help but blush... Again.

"You should dress like that more often."

"I will, shhh the movie is starting." I rested my head on his shoulder reluctantly. After about 45 minutes I was kinda scared, the movie was getting to a super scary part and then I shook at the jump scare.

"You ok?" He said while wrapping his arms around me.

"Yea I'm better now" He was so warm, and kind, and nice to me. I felt so safe. Finally the movie ended and Kid drove me back to my place. He even walked me to my door. I unlocked it and almost stepped inside.

"I had a really great time tonight Kid." I told him.

"I hope we can do this again." He said walking closer to me.

"You're so cute..." He started to lean in. Then he closed his eyes and I did the same. Our lips collided and I can feel the heat radiating off of him. I leaned back a slight bit as we stood there practically falling into each others embrace. He concluded the kiss when he pulled away ever so gently. I was mesmerized.

"Thanks for the date Kid you're so sweet!" I giggled.

"Hey we will do this again soon, I'll call you later." He started walking then turned around and said,

"Don't go around getting other guys ok, you're so pretty they can't resist you."

"I promise I wont." I said giggling, still so happy.

"Ok just making sure" He said , smiled, and drove away. Leaving me standing there on my porch, grinning wildly.
Hey guys sorry I switched from present tense to past tense! I will try not to do that much. Anyway thanks for being so patient with my story and I hope you keep enjoying it!
