I lay there quietly in the dark , a ball of light dancing across my fingertips. A knock on my door startled me and the ball of light disentegrated, it made me realise how I officially hated this academy.
The door opened and Sabriel walked in. He switched on the light and I put my hands over my eyes, lettting out a light growl. He laughed, he always did.
I looked at Sabriel. His bright turquoise eyes stared back and I felt the blood rush to my cheeks. I was blushing! Again! He looked at me. "What?" He asked. I pointed at him. He looked down at his pale, shirtless figure. "I still don't see anything wrong."
"Theres a few of my brother, Diego's shirts in the wardrobe." I said. "Your the only one who ever complains!" He whined. I cursed in spanish. "Excuse me." He said. "Nothing." I replied. He looked at me suspiciously before finally pulling a shirt out from the draw.
"This ones about my size." He said. I looked at the shirt. "You can keep it." I said. He grinned. I put my hand over my eyes in frustration. English boys! I got up from the bed and ran my long, blood red nails sown his bare chest. "You better leave before I start digging things out." I said , slightly pressing my nails into his chest and I pushed him out the room.
He flinched. "I promise you this. I will get you , Ezparenza." He said. "Hard luck. " I said in spanish. "What?" He asked. "Bye." I said, slamming the door in his face. Sabriel had no idea what he was getting himself into.
So, guys, was this a good first chapter? I know it seems a little boring but it takes like 13 chapters or more to get there. Yea. I know. But thats the thing with short chapters and long stories. So anyway...
