An Insane Assumption

I've known Hiccup for as long as I can remember but never have I ever heard him say something so, Crazy! "I caught it (y/n) I caught the night fury! I had a clear shot last night and I saw it go down!! Do you know what this could mean for me?! Oh my gods we have to go and find it now! This must be a gift from Valhalla!!!" I just stared at him blankly letting all the information soak in and be processed. I laughed, pretty hard actually, while Hic looked at me with a pretty grim expression plastered on his face. "Yeah ok I love you and all, but Hiccup a night fury?" I told him without noticing the light blush dusting his face after having said that I love him. "The fasted most dangerous dragon?! And you YOU caught it, a bit hard to believe don't cha think?"

Hiccups P.O.V
(Day before)

I had just built a contraption that could help me capture the fiercest dragon known to us Vikings, the Night Fury. I've tired plenty of times before and I wish I could say they were successful, but that would be a lie. It was the beginning of another attack on Berk, but this time I was ready. I had all my things together so I could at least help Gobber a little before I left. I helped and fixed everything that needed to be fixed at the time and quickly ran out heading straight towards the cliff so I had a clear shot. I set everything up and looked up at the clear night sky, it was quite beautiful..just like Astrid, and (y/n). But I didn't have much time to sort out my mixture of emotions towards both girls because the monster showed itself! I shot! It actually looked like I hit it, oh my lords, could I have hit it?! I shouted with joy "DID ANYONE SEE THAT?!" But of course with my luck the dragon notices it as I get chased through my town by a monsterous nightmare. "Yep, today was a pretty good day if I do say so myself." I murmured as I made my way home, sarcasm dripping off of my words.
