The Jane and Peter Theory

I've watched the second Disney movie to Peter Pan and as I was watching it, I noticed that Jane looks more like Peter then her father, Edward. And I was just looking at the facial features. If you look in the picture above, you can notice that Edwards' bone structure is more pointed but Jane and Danny's bones are more round...like Peter's. So after a few years, Wendy and Peter Pan had kids together, Peter knew about them but couldn't stay to take care of them because he didn't belong in this world. Assuming that Edward married Wendy after both kids were born, the kids adopted Edward as their new Dad and Wendy couldn't let go of Peter so she decided to tell her kids story's of the adventure Peter Pan had.

Now that we got a little back story out of way, let's fast forward to the part where Peter Pan rescued Jane. In the first bit, Peter says to Jane, you don't look like Wendy and then inspects her. This could mean that Peter is saying Jane looks more like him then Wendy. This also explains why Peter just assumes Jane can fly and trys to spend as much time with her as possible. Now turning your attention to Danny, we can tell that from Wendy telling him all about Peter Pan that Danny pretty much wants to be Peter Pan. If for some reason something happened to Peter Pan, Danny would have to take over for him. In other words, Danny is the hier to Neverland. But one question that keeps flowing through my mind is the fact that Peter wants Jane to be a mother to the Lost Boys. If Jane was Peter's daughter, why would tell The Lost Boys that Jane was going to be their new mother?
