I Swear, I Promise! (Denki Kaminari x Reader | Short Story | )

~ C h a p t e r 1 ~

!attention! so like, you really dont have to read some of this chapter because most of it is just kinda boring and i really didn't dig into the plot but it's going to get there in chapter 2 so have some patience and dont worry :))

Your POV

Denki Kaminari, age 18. 

A dude who you have been crushing on for a little more than a while. And what I mean by more than a while is like for more than a quote-on-quote "few" months. Were you deceitful about this? A little...but not too much. You were quite confident and not so caring if he "would" find out about you having feelings for him because you two were technically like very close friends to the point where your friendship was the only thing you two could care about at times. 

You two thought it was stupid when people around your school thought you guys were a couple and both of you would just freak out a little internally and refuse that fact...or in this case, "lie". Oh, and how surprising some girls around campus got jealous and all heartbroken and shit, when they saw you with him, laughing and just enjoying some sweet time like a couple, would do but nah, that was the case, it never was. Just, friendship...right? 

And then your interest in him started to seep into the walls and facades of something that was trying to tell you something. Lord, it was telling you the truth about you having feelings for him but it was nothing at first, you still think it's really not a big deal. You liked him because of his bubbly and dorky personality that would send you wheezing through the window of the campus and not only his personality, just like every other girl, his looks. That blond hair and how that beautiful black streak in the strands of it caused you to mesmerize over it for no absolute reason. You just thought it was pretty.

Then came his aspects of some parts of his body. All jokes aside, you found him overall extremely hot and shocking to even start with. (Pun intended.) At times, it made you blush and it mostly caused you to keep your eyes glued onto him until your female friend from nearby would tap your shoulder and catch your attention.

Present Day

You were running late because you woke up this morning with another hangover. You stupidly attempted another all-nighter on a school night but failed to stay up and went to sleep at 3 in the morning which was an absolute mistake. Since none of your parents were there to wake you up because they had a business trip they had to attend, you were alone and had to guide yourself to become productive until the week was over. Today was Thursday and thank god it was because you couldn't stand another four, three, or two days of school any longer. Good thing next week was going to be winter break. 

As you rushed out of your room because the time was already 7:50, the first thing you did was fit yourself into some casual clothes that were a shirt, a hoodie over it, and some plain old jeans that were nicely colored for your taste but you didn't have enough time to fit into some other apparel to make you even more satisfied than you already were. You brushed through the strands of your hair as you picked up a brush and comb. 

After preparing yourself for the day you decided to skip breakfast and just get out of the house so you can rush to school on foot because you didn't have any idea how to drive a car yet at 18. As you run yourself to campus the sound of your belongings churned in your backpack as it bounced up and down vaguely. After a few seconds of anxiety rushing through your veins, you heard the bell ring from a couple of feet away as you were already at the entrance of your school. You speed-walked in your campus and it took only a minute or two to transition and get to your first period which was located at the left end of the school, through the halls.
