I feel terrible. I didn't mean to hurt Kaylee. I really didn't. I guess I was just upset that she couldn't trust me. When we first met at the mall a few months back, I looked into her eyes and sparks flew. I know that's cheesy I just never felt like this about another girl before.

Every girl I have dated or came close to, only seemed to like me because I was famous. They all were the same. But when I saw Ksylee, it felt different. And now I blew all.

Even our friendship changed just because my stupid self let me hold her hand at the movies before I could really think about it. I'm such an idiot.

Earlier today I was on my home from rehearsal when I got a call.

"Hey Jake! How you doin'? How's the family?" The voice said. "Hey Mike! We're doing good. What's up?" Mike was a movie director that helps me with a ton of my music videos. "I was calling' to see if you wanted to be the star of my new movie!" "That sounds awesome" I continued. "I'll ask my manager! Where are we shooting? Hollywood? Vegas? New York-" I guessed. "England. You'll rent an apartment in town of the shooting and will be gone for a year!" "One year!?" I said. "When do I leave?" I asked stunned."Tomorrow night. So pack your bags and I'll meet you at the airport at 6:00. Plane leaves at 7:00." Mike went on like it was normal to drop a bomb this big and expecting me to be okay with it. "Hold up. I still have to ask my managers." A.K.A my parents."Well kid you got like one hour to ask them because I already bought your plane ticket. I need you to call me back when you talk it over with your folks." "Okay I will. Thanks Mike! Talk to you in a few." "Alrighty!" He hung up.

When I got to my house, my parents were already there. "What are you guys doing here? I thought you were still in Ireland!" "Mike called us earlier so we rode our jet back to your house." "So can I go do the movie in England?" "Are you sure you want to be there for a year without us?" My mom asked like she was concerned but wasn't exactly paying attention."Sure. Its a once in a lifetime kind of offer isn't it?" I said surprised she wasn't pushing me to do it without thinking about it thoroughly. "Yeah I guess its your life. If you want one of us to come with yo-" "Mom I'm 17 turning 18 in the winter. I'm old enough. Plus I'll still have my bodyguards so I won't get lost or hurt." I argued. "Laura, he's got a point. If this is something he wants him to do, then let him so it." My dad said. I was happy because my dad always wins these arguments! "David! He's still so young!" My mom said with a worried tone in her voice. "Laura." He gave her 'that' look. "Fine! Jake you can go. Just be safe! Pack your bags and-" "I know mom. I'll do that when I come back. I need to go talk to someone real quick." "Ok just hurry up! You have to get up early tomorrow!" "Okay mom. I'll be quick." I kissed her goodbye then got my keys and walked out towards my sports car in my garage.

I had to go apologize to Kaylee and tell her that I moving to England for a year for a movie.

When I pulled in to her driveway I got real nervous for some reason. I put my car in park. I was hoping Evie didn't answer the door when I rang it. A few seconds after I rang the door, the person who opened it caught me off guard. It was her dad. Even though I was taller than he was

he made me more nervous. "Uh...Is Kaylee here? I need to talk to her real quick. Uh...Sir." "I don't know if that's a very good idea son. You really tore her up. She was really upset when you dropped her off the other night." "I understand sir. I came her to apologize. Can I please go see her real quick?" I begged. "No. I don't think that's necessary. If you ever come around and hurt her again, you're going to be in for some trouble pretty boy. You understand me?" He said staring at me directly into my eyes. He really scared me.

"Yes sir. Can at least tell her I stopped by?" All he said was"Have a good day." Then closed the door.

I just stood there for a minute. Shocked about how that took a completely different turn than I expected.
