Chapter 12

I went home after class. I passed by Luke and he was with a bunch of friends. I waved goodbye at him.

"See you at the party!" He shouts as he waved back

I texted my mom since she said she was picking me up today. She didn't reply but I saw our car in the parking lot. I walked over and saw my mom inside. I went in and my brother was at the back seat.

"So, you alright? How was school?" She asks

"Yea, it was alright... Calum's absent today" I answered

"Why?" She asks again

"That's what bugs me the most. We all don't know why he's not here" I replied

"Oh! Mom, before I forget.. Can I go with Luke, Michael and Ashton tonight to a party?" I asked mom

"A party? I don't know... After what happened to you?" She said

"Its okay, Luke will be there" I said

"But Calum?" She said

"He hasn't replied to any of our messages" I said

"Well, are you sure you can trust Luke?" She asked

"Of course! He's Calum's best friend and he's pretty nice to me" I said

"Well, okay... but make sure you charge your phone and reply to my messages." Mom said

We drove back home. When we arrived, I went up to my room and took another shower. I like taking showers especially on bad days. It makes me think more about what happened and what went wrong and makes me forget about it. After taking a shower, I searched for my brand new dress I just got from H&M. I searched and searched but there was none. I asked my mom and she said it was hanged in my closet. I checked again and there it was. It was a knee-length sky blue dress. I took out my white heels and I was ready to go. Well, not really... I need to dry my hair and maybe do some make up work. I took out the hair dryer and dried my hair. After some time, it was done. I took out my curling iron and started curling the tips of my hair. After that, I put on some concealer, moisturizing cream and powder. I also put some eye shadow on my eyes and mascara. Last but not least, my lip gloss. I was all ready to go so I texted Ashton my address as I was instructed to do so. I also texted Luke saying I'm ready.

I waited for their replies

Half an hour later, they have arrived. I grabbed my purse and hurried downstairs. I kissed my mom goodbye

"Bye sweetheart, be careful!" Mom said as I shut the door

I turned around and saw Ashton with a pick up. I could see Luke beside him. I opened the back seat and we were off to a Friday night adventure!

"Looking good Molls" Luke said as he winked at me

"Ooh I'm flattered Mr. Hemmings" I played along with him

"Okay, let's not get weird in my car" Ashton said

Me and Luke laughed.

"So, any word from Calum?" Luke asks

"Nope" I answered

"This is really weird. There's no way he would go on a day without his phone..." Luke said

"I hope everything's okay" I said

"I'm sure it is." Luke said

"Maybe we should check him at his house?" I said

"His house it like a thousand miles from here and besides, we're almost at the party! I'm sure everything is alright, don't even worry about it." Ashton replied

We arrived at the party in no time. I went out and i feel good. I don't know how many people are here but it sure looks like the whole world is here. It's time to have fun!

"Shall we go inside madame? " Luke said holding out his hand with a smirk

"Indeed we shall Mr. Hemmings." I answered grabbing his hand

We went inside and woah... It was sooo freaking huge! People were everywhere and the music was sooo loud

"This place is an abyss!" Ashton said behind us

"I know right?" Luke said

Luke and I were together the whole party. Ashton seperated from us but he promised he'll be back before it ends. (If this party ever ends)

"Wanna dance?" I asked Luke

"I can't..." Luke answered quietly

"What do you mean you can't? Oh come on! Let's have some fun Lucas!" I said out loud. I don't know what's happening to me. I'm not usually like this, maybe I had too much to drink

Luke still refused. I started dancing infront of him like a gorilla. I don't even know how to dance! But the tequila had changed my body.

"Come on now Luke! I know you wanna.... Dancing is so much fun! Come on!" I said

Luke laughed and finally decided to join me. He started dancing like in the 60's. The music playing was "September" by Earth Wind and Fire. It was soo loud and me and luke were smashing it! We danced like we don't care, we partied so hard, my head was starting to hurt.

"Are you alright?" Luke asked

"Yea, my head just hurts a little" i answered

"I told you, you shouldn't have drank too much!" Luke said

He made me sit down on a couch. I don't know why but my head started spinning. Everything was spinning. The room was spinning, Luke was spinning, the entire world was spinning! I can't hear a sound anymore...

"Molly are yo......."

"Moll...."

"Molly?"

LUKE'S POV

"Molly can you hear me?" I asked her one last time and still no answer. She had fainted on my lap. Must be those tequilas earlier. Ugh I better call Ashton.

"Yo what's up man?" Ashton answered

"Dude, where are you? We need to go now." I said

"Woah, calm down. Why?" He asked

"Molly had a little too many tequilas and had just fainted" i answered

"Oh my. Is it her first time drinking? Man, we better get her home. I'll be there in two. Where are you?" Ash said

"Um, in the living room upstairs. We're sitting on a couch. Hurry" I hanged up the phone

I fixed Molly's hair as it was covering her face. I felt her phone vibrate. I took it out from her pocket.

*1 new unread message*

I opened it to find out who it is. Maybe it's Calum...

From Mom:

Sweetheart, are you okay there? Nothing bad happened yet?

I decided to text her mom back or else she'll be worried sick.

To Mom:

Hi Mrs. Summer, this is Luke. Molly passed out but don't worry, we're on our way there.

"And... sent!" I said

"What are you doing?"

"Oh hey Ashton! Glad you're finally here. I just texted Molly's mom that we're on our way back. Now, lets go" I said
