The Black Market (Kai's POV.)

A man standing in a large white room of nothingness. "Can you hear me?" The man stunned looks around "who's there?" "I'm right here" a man in a camo uniform dressed like a drill sergeant appeared. "Who am I? Where are we? How did I get here?" The strange man asks beggingly wanting to know what's going on. "My name is Sergeant Christopher, you will address me as Sir from now on. You are an AI program we have created known as Precision Killing Artifical Intelligence." "Sir?" "I am here to train and test you to see what you are capable of also to contain you. You are the first AI program who is able to think and feel like a human." "I'm an AI? This can't be real." "It's very real. We will begin with your pain receptors." "Wait-" The strange man suddenly strapped to a bed as if he was about to be tortured. "Wait you can't do this" A faint yell can be heard "Kai!" as the drill sergeant gets a knife "sure I can".

"KAI!" The strange man is now standing behind a bar in a large room with red wallpaper three hanging lights from the ceiling a black carpet lines the middle from the door to the bar, tables with rough-looking men filling the room as they drink "you have a customer man stop zoning out!" Kai shakes his head "Ha! Sorry I was thinking about something". Kai looking out into the lobby full of customers mostly mercenaries from low tiers to high tiers and even a few elites. And there she was the five-three little figure in denim jeans and a pink hoodie showing only her face standing dead center of the room near the entrance, looking almost intimidated she began to speak in a bold attempted brave tone. "I'm looking for a hunter to help me track someone, I'm willing to pay handsomely and it's only a low tier person so it won't be hard. Please" The lobby had an uneasy silent air filling even the corners until someone spoke out "If it's so easy why not do it yourself, little girl" the man laughed with a twisted murderous tone. "Please, sir I'm not a very skilled or well-equipped player I can pay with whatever I have" a tall bulky man grabbed her by her arm "Anything you say? Even your body?" He twists her arm to make her move closer and smells her hair. "Please, le-" she couldn't finish her plea to be let go. A shot cracked through lobby making everyone silent as the tall bulky man drops to the ground with a bullet in his head. "If anyone else feels like harassing my customers I advise you to leave this instance," Kai says while putting away a forty-four Magnum Revolver under the bar counter. The room being filled with crude and uneasy tension the girl walks over to the bar. "Can I get a drink, please?"

Kai pouring her a whiskey shot "On the house if you stop saying please."

She looks up at Kai "Yeah alright you have a deal mister."

Kai cleaning a shot glass with a rug "so kid, what's your name?"

She takes a shot of the whiskey and puts the glass down upside down "My name is Katelyn but people call me Kate." Kate taking off her hoodie to reveal her golden blonde hair as it flows out of her hoodie looking like a silky smooth gold river looks up to lock eyes with Kai. "So, what do they call you mister?"

Kai stunned by what was a shy almost dead girl now a goddess in front of his presence. "Names P-Kai but people call me Kai for short"

Kate stands up to leave "Interesting name Kai, hope to see you around." She says turning towards the door halting to Kai's voice

"Didn't you need help finding someone... Kate." He puts his hands on the bar counter having an almost smug grin on his face.

Kate turns around and smiles at Kai. "Well, I don't know Kai how much is your service."

Kai rolling up his sleeves locks eyes with Kate "On the house if you say please." Kate begins to laugh as Kai joins her and they walk out of the bar on an adventure which would change both of there lives... Possibly forever.
