"Mrs Rivera, please come to the office. Mrs Rivera, please come to the office."
The secretary's staticky voice through the intercom startled me out of my daydream as I quickly stood up and headed out of my classroom to the main office. My mind began to wonder, questioning what I had done wrong. Yeah, my mind's like that. I hadn't been called to the office via intercom for I don't even know how long, and my nervousness began to show as I started to unconsciously mumble and fidget with my hands.
As I arrived to the office, I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, lowered my head, and opened the door.
I expected someone to quickly begin bugging me, questioning me, or simply letting me know the reason for my beckoning but, I was meet with an eerie silence. This was enough to make me slowly peek out of my eyes while still looking the floor. When I fully opened them, I was met with a set of shoes I knew didn't belong to the school. I had never seen them and I had the horrible habit of looking at the floor while I walked; one that I had been trying very hard on breaking and was close to succeeding.
These shoes were enough to provoke curiosity so I continued to make my way up through this person's body. No one was still talking so he, judging by his legs and muscles I could see through the rips of his jeans, must be the one who wanted to talk to me. I began to think that the legs seemed a bit familiar but the shoes still threw that theory out the window. As I kept elevating my gaze, I realized this man was tall, with a nice flat and rather muscular chest, and strong arms that were crossed over it.
That feeling of deja vu continued to linger in my mind as I looked closely at a particular silver ring with a blue stone he was using on his index finger. This was enough to make me jerk my head up and stare at his face, eyes wide open in surprise as I was met with one of my favorite persons in the world.
"Hi, my name is Namjoon. You must be Mia."
