It's literally 5 am and my mom and I are on our way to the airport. We are moving to California cause she got a better job over there and they pay her really well. I wasn't too excited cause i'm always moving and making new friends.
We got to the airport and boarded the plane. My mom and I made our war to our seats, i took the window. I plugged in my headphones and blasted some music while i was scrolling through instagram. I was getting sleepy so i decided to get some rest.
A few hours later my mom woke me up telling me that we arrived.
Mom: Lydia, we're here! cmon!
We went to go get our luggage and called an uber.
You: It's 1pm, can we please eat?
Mom: Does chick-fil-a sound good?
You: um yes!
The uber took us to get some food and dropped us off at our new home.
Mom: Welcome to our new house sweetie! Go unpack and get settled.
You: And Welcome to California.... woo-hoo, so excited....
I went upstairs to a random room and started unpacking. Mid way into unpacking, i forgot i start school tomorrow.
