We havent been in a relationship for very long, therefore it makes sense that there aren't a whole lot of moments I would like to relive just yet. But there is at least one moment that keeps playing in my mind and I keep wishing I could go back and freeze time.
It's not the fireworks that we saw while swinging 80 meters above the ground and it also isn't standing on the tower looking down at the town that we both partially grew up in. Although those were perfect moments and I enjoy thinking back on them of course. It's much more simple than that.
It's you, undressing in the dark. But you don't get very far and you come to hug me on your bed. Your trousers and the dog tag still right where they were.
Maybe it's the height of your bed that makes that moment so special to me. Or maybe it's how you said that you didn't get around to take off the dog tag when I asked you about it. You never seemed fond of it. But I am.
