"Y-your awake it's a miracle do you know what happened- wait let me get you some water first then I'll ask questions," the nurse I guess said and walked out the door. 2 minutes later she came back with a doctor and a glass of water. She held my head up and put the cup against my lips letting the water touch it. I took small sips until I drunk about half the cup and tried to clear my dry throat. "Okay you can blink twice for yes and once for no. Do you know where you are," I blinked twice "do you know your name," I thought for a second and blinked twice "do you know why you were brought into the hospital," I blink once "Okay I'll tell you why you are here but let me check your vitals first." She looked at my chart and started checking my eyes, blood pressure, and my arms and legs. Once she finished the doctor left and the nurse sat down beside me on my hospital bed.
