It was the day of Haise Sasaki Christmas party. You had just stepped into the Chateau house where you saw many of your friends and co workers having fun. You chatted and drank with the people around you all while looking for your Partner Juuzou, you knew he was gonna be here cause you asked him about it earlier that day. You were extremely nervous to see him due to you wanting to confess some...feelings...to him.
You were now in the corner of the room enjoying a drink to yourself as you watched people dance and sing to the Christmas carol's that were being played. You felt a hand on your shoulder which made you jump. "Jeez Y/N it's just me.." you turn around to see that it was Juuzou, he chuckles in response as you giggle "how are you Juuzou?" You ask with a sweet smile as you didn't notice the soft blush that was on your face.
You and Juuzou just stood there and chat as you enjoyed a few drinks, you noticed yourself getting slightly tipsy but you ignore it. "So Y/N..what are you planning to do with all the money you got from killing the nutcracker?.." Juuzou asks as he leans against the wall. "U-um...I'm honestly not sure I don't have anything in mind..." you paused for a moment "can I tell you something?" You ask seeming nervous "sure?" Juuzou asks in curiosity.
"W-well um...I don't think you understand how nervous I am to tell you this..." your mind was racing as your body started to shake in fear. "It's fine Y/N you can tell me anything.." he said with a sigh sounding slightly annoyed. "I-I.....I like you okay!..like more then just partners..I think your so amazing..but I know that nothing would happen cause I don't think you even see me as more then a co worker....I just thought I should of told you..."
You looked down ashamed as you crossed your arms, your body was still shaking. Juuzou just sighed as his voice was filled with frustration "Y/N....I'm sorry I'm not looking for a relationship...your just my partner for work okay nothing more I'm sorry..." you felt your heart shatter and tears form in your eyes "I-it's fine Juuzou...heh I understand.." tears started to roll down your cheeks "I'll go..have a nice night and here Merry Christmas.." you quickly hand Juuzou a gift before running off.
The room went silent as your co workers watched you run out crying as all I went for Christmas is you played in the background. It was a little later and Juuzou was standing in the corner of the room with his arms crossed and the gift you gave him in his hands, he didn't feel like opening it. He lets out one more sigh before saying goodbye to his friends and heading Home.
Once he got home he locked the door and sat on the couch, he stared at the gift you gave him wondering if he should open it or not, after a few moments of staring he grabs the gift and opens it. The gift was a drawing of you and Juuzou from the rewards night..then he remembered that he had asked you to draw him a little while ago and you promised to do so. He started at the picture as he slowly grew a smile and his heart started to melt "she's so cute- it's so cute! The art style is cute!...fuck.." Juuzou just sat there his mind racing and his heart pumping he just hoped that he would see you at work so the two of you could talk things out.
