Letter

Realization I Guess

It was quite disappointing to see poor Vince who thought Kate would read his letter right away. Unfortunately Kate wanted to read it in her room alone. She as well expected the letter to have a written name to who sent it but sadly it was an unknown sender. Opening the letter and reading inside it said.

"Dear Kate, I have something to say to you... Can you meet me today, behind the school after you read this letter. This is very important!"

Kate was confused at first and noticed there was no name to who the sender was. Not only that but the confession was today! Kate was real worried knowing that the person who was confess his love to her was waiting behind the school for the whole day.

"What am I supposed to do? Will he still wait for me?" Worried Kate did not know what to do or think.

Kate could not sleep that night after overthinking about everything that might happen to the person who sent the letter, and it seems she will never know who sent it at the moment. Although she was confident enough that the boy will understand and wait the next day for her.

Rising in bed early in the morning with a lack of sleep. Kate walked tiredly down the stairs as she yawned and rubbed her eyes.

"Morning mom.. Morning dad."

Her parents were wondering what had happened because of the super unusual behavior, she never was this tired in the morning before and this clearly surprised them.

Kate started to eat her usual breakfast and prepare to head to school hopefully she wont be late today. As she arrived near to school and slowly was regaining her energy from the lack of sleep. Kate finally realized that her day was different, knowing this she was super surprised.

"H-how the hell did I not get any sleep? And its the first time in my life that Something different happened!" She gazed at the wall for a few seconds.

Kate's friends were just staring at her oddly, and Kate realize and was slightly embarrassed but even so she thought about the specific events today very deeply, and came to a conclusion it was the letter that was sent that started to change everything. 

"I need to know what I am dealing with here." Kate thought out loud. It was almost as if Kate thought something supernatural happened but actually it is not even near that. But oh well. 

Kate then decided to meet with the person who sent the letter and wait hopefully meeting him. So as she arrived at the spot behind the school just waiting and hoping that the sender will not give up on his confession or something, someone came by and it was a boy. She approached him and asked.

"were you the one who sent the letter?" 

And with that question the boy just took a short stare. Actually it was not the sender and just a random stranger who will soon take this random opportunity to say yes and finally live his dream of having a-

No in the end he just received a kick in the balls from the actual sender. Kate shocked from the attack from behind the boy who has not answered her question yet, she just calmly looked at the poor soul.

"I am the one who sent that letter"

 Vince said trying to look cool after almost sending his friend to the after life from trying to steal the spotlight of this story. Kate looked at Vince for a moment as if he was the villain right now wondering how he knew about the letter. But then it hit her (as the smart girl she is) that he mentioned the letter meaning in conclusion, he is the sender.

What will happen next? Is this gonna be a slightly cliche scene or will it just end up going down to the worst? Keep reading please.
