"Marrionette!" Kaya called. "Where are you?!" A groaned was heard from across their little den.

"Let me eat my food in peace Kaya!" She called. Kaya chuckled and located her psychopathic friend in the darkness. Marrionette was bent over a wet and bloody box filled with various organs she'd stolen from unsuspecting villages on her way home. At that moment she was halfway through eating a kidney, the blood and fluids still dripping out of the bitten off parts. Kaya didn't gag. She was all in all desensitised to the sight of gore and cannibalism.

"Did you really tell them to kiss?" She asked, sitting next to Marrionette. Marrionette nodded.

"I thought it'd be funny," she said. "But now it just feels like I've seen my ship sail." Kaya nodded.

"They have known each other for a year, maybe longer." They fell into a silence only broken by the sound of Marrionette munching on the delectable human morsel. "Have you seen Riu?" Marrionette shrugged.

"I saw her go outside but I don't know where she went," she answered. Suddenly she spat out a piece of kidney and gagged. "Ew a kidney stone." Kaya stood up and moved to walk outside.

"Kaya!" Alliah called from her position in front of Dream, who she was spoon-feeding. "I think I might know where she's gone."

Cross stared unseeing into the cheerless night sky. Her mind wandered back again and again to Incubux, lost somewhere.

"I'm going to find you Incubux," she quietly. promised. She jumped as she felt someone sit down next to her. Nightmare raised an eyebrow at her reaction.

"Why so jumpy Cross?" He asked. Cross glared at him. "You know you have a lot of audacity to look at me like that. I am your prince after all."

"Well My Prince," Cross growled. "Maybe you should be more prince-like and take measures to prevent our city from being attacked." Nightmare just stared at her, unmoved.

"You were thinking about your son, weren't you?" Cross lost her anger in an instant. She brought her knees up to her chest and focused on the sky again as she answered.

"Yes. I want to find him."

"That's one thing I don't understand," Nightmare said thoughtfully. "Why did you come out here with me if the last place you saw your son was in the city?" Cross glanced at him.

"You're cleverer than you look," She discerned.

"Thanks," Nightmare returned dryly. "But you haven't answered my question." Cross snorted.

"If you're such a discerning person you can figure it out for yourself." She stood up. "After all, you are the prince," She sneered, walking away.

The house was huge. Arches, staircases, fountains and everything else you'd expect of the wealthy adorned the mansion. Even if you were to find a bigger one in the city there was no way you'd be able to find one with a larger backyard. The gardens were numerous and the mazes, hedges and wilderness endless.

"Woah," Blue gasped. "It's beautiful." Dust nodded beside her, visibly impressed.

"The rich sure know how to decorate," He said. Geno walked confidently forward to the front door and the others followed behind her. Incubux walked directly behind Geno, as if he was using her as a shield. She knocked on the door and was surprised to find it opened by a teenaged girl with pink hair and wearing a pink dress and a pink hairclip.
