2 Hours Before The Fire
Mia's POV:
Mazy and Savannah take there damn time to get to my car. They are mad because I said I didn't want to go to a nasty, to pumped up, sweaty smelling party.
Mazy is just her nickname for Mason yes I know that's a boy name but her parents were high and confused if she was a girl or a boy. Thankfully she got adopted. Even thought they asked if she wanted to change her name she still refuses because she says it reminds her of how far she has gotten. Honestly I think it fits her perfectly she is such a tomboy.
Now Savannah is completely different she is super girly. She's the cheer captain at our school and is dating the quarterback. Yea I know it sounds like she is the perfect girl that every girl looks up to. But really Savannah has gone threw a lot just like Mazy. That's why I think they are so close. Savannah has a step father that just loves to beat his family especially her little sister. But thankfully since Mazy is in a boxing club she helps her learn self defense.
I guess I'm just the funny and weird girl in our little group. I'm kinda popular on YouTube so I guess you can say I'm a Youtuber. I'm popular for my DIY's that I have made up or done. My parents and I aren't really close because they aren't really at home that much but I'm used to it, I guess I don't care because I'm completely happy when there gone. Don't get me wrong I love them and all but I don't have any special cool memories that make me sad that they aren't here for me a lot. My parents own a company called Jeep that sells cars.
But back to what I was saying before I got to a slight pity party,My friends and I have known each other since 7th grade so about 4 years I guess that's not so much but they are my family, if I ever need anything they are there. They replaced my parents. They look out for me and make sure that I'm happy. They are my rock.
Anyways, they got in the car and at the same time they started whining. They were saying to please go with them and it wouldn't be fun with out me. Then they said that Sebastian wouldn't be there and I relaxed. I started caving in and after a few more minutes I said I would go. Damn it! I guess if Sebastian isn't coming it shouldn't be to bad.
We all decide that they are just gonna stay at my house tonight. We also decide to get ready write away because it takes us forever to get ready. When we get in my house Savannah gets in my shower and mazy takes a shower in the guest bathroom. Instead of going into my parents shower I clean my room and set my alarm for 7:00 AM so I can take my morning jog. They never wake up to my alarm so now I don't worry about waking them up. They are hard to wake up. But they always wake up at 8:30 so I always have time to workout.
After I'm done I take my shower in my parents room and when I get out suddenly just feel to dip-dye my hair a red-ish color. So I turn on the stove and I poor in cherry Kool-Aid. Then I turn on the timer and go back upstairs to get dressed. yep thats me the wierd and random girl that just decides to dye her hair at any time.
Mazy is in my closet and is picking things out for her self while Savannah is doing her hair. I decide to wear a red lace crop top and a high waisted black leather skirt. I also grabbed my red tights and my black high heeled boots. Then to finish my outfit up I grab my black bow to pull my curly hair back, just enough to make a cute bump in the front.
I look around to see that Mazy is playing call of duty on my tv and Savannah on the phone talking to her bae. I tap on their shoulder and tell them to get in my car.
An Hour Later
We finally get to the party around 10:00. We all split up to do what we always do: Savannah goes to get us our drinks. Mazy goes to look for any places we should try to avoid like creepy guys or super drunk guys. I go and find our other friends and text them where I'm at. Suddenly I get a call saying from the police department that my house was in a fire from the stove. Oh my god it's all my fault. I forgot that I wanted to dip-dye my hair. Shit, what am I gonna do? Where am I gonna sleep? They said that the house is pretty much ruined and that they already called my parents. I automatically text Mazy and Savannah and say that I have to go and that it's an emergency. I get into my BMW and drive to the police station.
