I looked uo from the Bar to tell Balthozar to quit questioning me. Instead i choked on my Bloody Mary. Ezparenza looked as shocked as I was. Did she recognise the key? She walked down the stairs and made her way towards the bar.
She sat on the stool next to me and kissed my cheek. "Thanks for caring." She said. Oh, in the name of Hades! I think she recognised it! "No problem." I said. "Hey, Baby." Balthozar said. "Fuck off, Balthozar." Ezparenza said. "Im here for my brother, not for you." He said. "Bal, just go." I said. "Im not going to answer your questions." "So now that you got my girl, you dont need me." Balthozar said. "Im not his girl and im definetly not your girl. N. E. V. E. R. Again." Ezparenza said. "Then why did you kiss him?"Bakthozar asked. "Unlike you he has a heart. He comforted me. He did'nt hurt me!"Ezparenza yelled. "If you wanted me to change you should have told me!" Balthozar yelled back. "If you actually loved me you would have changed without me having to tell you to!" Ezparenza yelled. Balthozar looked at her. "I don't change for anyone." He said and walked away. "Two orange juices ,please." I asked the bartender. "Make it one. With two straws. Large , please." Ezparenza said. "Listen , Ezzy, me and you need to talk after the dance." I said. The bartender put the glass on the counter. "We do." She said before taking a pull from the straw.
Hell! I knew she recognised the key!
