" I don't care where I am as long as I can sleep in peace. "

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK, a remark used by stubborn people to not sleep. The immaturity of these people who used this as an excuse disgusted me. The phrase was the one thing in life I hated with a burning passion. I flutter my eyes open as I glance around at what seems like I'm floating in the vast night sky, and I release a sigh. " Sometimes, people don't see the luxuries they have until it's gone from their life. " The reminisce of Ikemen words echo in my head. That perfect idiot knew what say to me, about the things I loathed. I was a mess, a series of unfortunate events you can say, and that something I wondered how people would bare to stick around a hot mess like me. A sudden burst of hysterical laughter left my throat like the mad person I was. " I was used for their benefit as Mayumi said. I'm a disgrace. " The words came out as if it were a natural thing to stay, but the pain of thinking people did use me remained. My hiccuped laughter was only heard by me. My mind was clouded with thoughts of all the things I did wrong.

" Your amazing (Last Name) San! " Izuku words struck like lighting that made all my other dark thoughts leave. His words open up the memory of the sports festival in my head. For a moment the memory made me feel warm and safe until I remember I failed them. ALL OF THEM.

I tried to think about something else, but his word repeat inside my head like a broken record player. His words overwhelm me and my heart starts racing. The pound in my head starts getting louder as his word repeat, repeat, and repeat. The memory won't stop repeating and it reminds me of the failure I truly am. It feels like the stress that building up is ready to pounce at me, like the mentally injured prey I am. I hug my knees hoping to feel some type of safety, but I knew I was just lying to myself.

" I'M NOT. I FAILED YOU," I scream that out from the top of my lungs hoping someone can hear me.

I felt a sudden embrace of warmth I look up and see his face. I look at my hands they were smaller, and my eyes were filled with hot tears. My body was shaking and the rain was pouring hard. A tall dark-haired teenage boy wipes my tears he spoke, "If you cry any more Mayumi going to get mad, c'mon let's go get you some soba." My small self nods and grabs his hand when he finally stands up from crouching to my height. He grabs his bag with his other hand and we walk to the local ramen shop.

The memory stops playing and I see a dark shadowed figure as if it were a person across from me only the piercing red eyes can be seen. No longer in the night sky, but a room with only white. I'm on the floor as the figure was standing tall.

" Ẃ̶̜͉̞͔̘̲̞͍͂̽̊͂̊̑̀͝͝Ȃ̷͍̫̈́̀́͆͠Ň̴̹̳̞͊̎̐̔͠T̸̡̥̺̪̣̮̲̊̏͌͐ ̵̧͕̮̺̳̰͗̈́͌̒͌̋͠͝T̴̯̮̈́͛́͛̿͒̚Ǫ̶͙̰̏ ̴̺͖̃G̵͓̠̞͒̈́́̇̕̚̕O̶̙̣̞̎̈́͐̀̓̂͛̋͝ ̸͇͆̊͌̈́̈̿͝B̶̞̠̥͖̀̾͐̀̆̓͆̆̚Â̴̠̱̟̬̬̞͛̏̑C̷̩͙̪̲͒K̴͖̗̥̣̥̫̬͈̗͌̽͗̿̌͑̓̽͘͝? " Its voice sounded inhuman, but you can still make out the words.

I didn't answer I was too much of a coward to say anything.
