Chapter 6-A Train A School And A Hat

I'm on a roll!!
Percy's POV-
The week passed by quickly. We had gone to get our wands the next day. When we had gotten back we messed around with different spells. We also discovered that now that the glamor had been removed Draco could barely read and was almost as hyper as Leo, and that's saying something. We had been told to go to sleep early the day before we left, but seeing as we had only known each other for a week we didn't listen. We stayed up till about two in the morning talking and laughing. When we had finally fallen asleep it was almost time for us to wake you. Problem is we slept in. You're probably wondering, hey wouldn't Nico wake you up? The answer to that is no. He sleeps like he's dead. I'm not even joking and there is no pun intended. So we slept in late. We were supposed to be gone by the time our mom woke up so she didn't wake us up either. By the time we woke up it was eleven o'clock. We jumped out of bed and ran to Nico's room. I dumped water on his head to wake him up. When that didn't work I jumped on top of him and smacked him around. He shot up just as I leaned back. "What the Hades Percy?" he yelled.
"We missed the train! We missed it!" I informed him.
"Schist," he mumbled under his breath. "What do we do?" he asked looking up at us.
"Um we get ready and ask if we can arrive by Pegasus." Draco answered. We all dashed off in different directions, you know after I had rolled off of Nico. After we got dressed in the nice robes we had bought, because we didn't want to have to worry about them later. We sent an owl to the Headmistress. When we got the reply saying that we had permission I instantly called for Blackjack. He appeared minutes later along with one of his friends. Draco took a quick liking to his friend. We shrunk our bags and put them in our pockets. I got on Blackjack and Draco got on Sweet Angel. We looked at Nico, who stood there awkwardly.
"Come on Nico. You can ride with me on Blackjack." I told him. He messed with the sleeves of his robes before hesitantly getting on. He sat rather far from me and tried not to touch me but as we shot up into the sky he had to hold on or fall off. He wrapped his arms around me and buried his face in my back. I laughed at how childish he was acting and he flicked me in the head before wrapping himself more around me. I held back further laughter as the trip wore on. When we finally landed in front of a gate. Draco instantly jumped off petting Sweet Angel but Nico held on. Crap he fell alseep. He was snoring slightly. I laughed and woke him up. He jumped and flew off Blackjack. Both Draco and I laughed. He glared playfully at us before standing up and brushing himself off. I slid off of Blackjack and turned to him. "See ya buddy. You can stay if you want but you'd be better off at camp. Bye." I said to Blackjack. Blackjack nodded before him and Sweet Angel pounced into the air and flew away. We turned to the gate and saw a man.
"Are you guys the kids Minerva said were coming?"
"Yes, we are, now can you please let us in?" Draco asked.
The man bristled, "Come on in." We followed him to the top up to some castle doors. He opened the door and told us to find our way to the Grand Hall. Draco led us until we stopped in front of some doors. He flung the doors open and I strode through. He and Nico followed me shortly. There was a lady at the front who was talking before we interrupted. I walked strait up to her.
"Hi, I'm Percy, were do I sit." I faintly heard Draco groan my name behind me. I looked at the lady to see she was not paying attention to me, she was staring dumbstruck at something behind me. I looked at what she was looking at. Nico.
"Minerva?" he asked quietly.
"Nico?" she answered. She stumbled out from behind the eagle podium thing she had been standing behind. She walked over to Nico before they through their arms around each other. "It's been so long, almost seventy-five years and you still manage to look 15. How?"
"I'll explain later, there are people staring." he told her. She stared at him for a second. "All right fine." he said before kissing both of her cheeks and making a pinky promise. "I pinky promise that I'll tell you later." She broke out into smile before turning back to us.
"All right we were just about to resort everyone coming back for your year. You guys can be sorted alone or together. It's your choice." We all looked at each other and nodded.
"We will be sorted separately. Also are we going to tell them why they have two older students suddenly joining this wonderful school." I asked.
A girl said from the large group of kids are age, "But there is three of you?"
"Yeah, but one of us has been going here since he was eleven...so..." Draco said trailing off.
"What? But none of you seem familiar." the same girl said.
"Because there was a glamor placed over me for my entire life. I know I look a little different but seriously it's not that hard to figure out. Look around you, who is missing? Other than the people who are dead?
-" it looked like he was going to keep going but the headmistress said, "Draco! Really? Right now? Can we deal with this later?"
"They were supposed to figure it out," he said looking over at Minvera.
"Draco, as in Draco Malfoy?" asked a boy with black hair, green eyes, and a lightning scar.
"That's right it's me, with just one mistake, last names Black now," Draco replied.
"But you-you look so different." said the same girl from earlier.
"I recently found out my life was not what I thought it was and neither am I." he answered.
The girl opened her mouth to ask another question but was interrupted by Minerva, "Students let's get to sorting." she shouted. The three of us looked up at her and smiled before backing away. She sorted the group of kids that the boy and girl were in. When she finished sorting them she looked at us. "DiAngelo, Nico." he walked over to the hat. I could tell by the looks on the faces on everyone in there that they thought he was going to Slytherin, well they are wrong. Nico's much to brave for that. Before the hat even sat on his head it looked like it was in pain from all the memories he had, 'HEAVEN AND HELL YOU HAVE BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH. GRYFFINDOR! GRYFFINDOR! NO DOUBT.' the hat said after barely touching his head. "Black, Draco," Minerva said. Draco walked up to the hat. 'Are you ready to go where you've always belonged? I know years ago you would not let me place you there but I sense that you are ready. Yes, okay then it's settled, GRYFFINDOR.' everyone stood shocked as Draco who was always known as the Slytherin Prince got sorted into Gryffindor, with everyone he was supposed to hate. I smiled at him as he got up and walked to the table and sat down next to Nico. "Black, Per-"
"Percy, it's just Percy." I said interrupting. There were gasps throughout the room. Nobody knew the Draco had a brother. I strode up to the hat but before I got close it started to whimper. I took a few steps closer, now it was crying. I looked around wondering why it was crying. 'Please, please don't put me on his head, please no. It is rather obvious where he's going Gryffindor. Please sir, back away, please...' it mumbled. Not knowing what to do I backed away till it stopped. 'I thought the other boy was bad, with what you've been through you should be insane. I've made my choice, GRYFFINDOR!' it shouted shakily. I got up and walked over to Draco. I sat down between him and Nico. They both wrapped an arm around me. "Thank you," I whispered to them. They both nodded. Everyone in the room was still frozen with shock. Minerva recovered first.
"Okay students, our two new students will explain themselves later. Also we have a new Defense Against the Dart Arts teacher, please welcome Sally Jac-er-Blowfish." I looked at the woman who stood up. I gave her a, I told you so, look. She smiled. "Also we would like to welcome our new Potions teacher, Paige." Another person I knew stood up. Everyone around us was commenting on how she was about the same age as us. Draco, Nico and I all waved at her. She giggled and waved back. She was wearing a black dress that pooled at her feet instead of robes. "Sally will be the head of Gryffindor, and Paige is the head of Slytherin." People nodded in understanding. "Now this has been long, let's eat."
Food appeared in front of us. We filled our plates with food. Draco was about to take a bite before I stopped him. "Sacrifices." he nodded. I stood up and walked over to Minerva, "Can we have a small fire?" I asked. She looked at me weird. "Please? Unless you want the lake to try and drown the entire school I would give us a fire." She nodded before waving her wand. "Thanks." I walked over to our table and picked up my food we walked over and dumped the best part of our food in the fire. "Poseidon, Athena, and Hecate." I said. Draco and Nico followed my lead. We sat back down and ate our meal. When everyone had finished eating and the food disappeared Minerva stood up again.
"Okay everyone. I know you are all tired but you are probably wondering about the new students also. Please come up here you guys."
We walked up there and stood in front of everyone. "Who knows about Greek and Roman myths?"
