Just the look of her sitting there, how could you blame me? If anything, this week I will win her

heart, no matter what it takes. We are celebrating the end of year 12 and I know there is no better

way to do it than with my friends...and her. We're in paradise; on a tropical island with no contact

from the outside world, now I can finally get my chance.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

I would never have believed that this would happen outside movies. After a long drive and a short

boat ride we're there, for a week. In a place that resembles paradise more than I believed

possible; and to top it off there's even a girl sunbaking on the beach in a bikini, I even know her

name. "Emma", I roll it around my mouth and over my tongue, it feels smooth, subtle and sexy,

everything about her does. I am positive in that moment that this is my week to shine; I will

remember this for the rest of my life.

------------------------------------------------------------------

I find myself swimming beside her exploring the Blue Pools at low tide. The colours are strong and

vibrant, the fish plentiful, exotic and full of life. I see a world so different from the one I live in, a

world with no terrorists, no pollution, no politics. Only sharks that swim alongside me, not fazed

but still cautious. I stroke my hand along its body and feel it quickly swim off. The look on her face,

terror, excitement and amusement all at once. We surface and grin, she takes a photo and so do I,

but I don't feel the picture does her any justice; she has even managed to pull off a mask and

snorkel while I sit here and look like a goof.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

We swim in the bay; there are rays all around us but I don't care. She splashes me playfully and I

splash her back. It ends with me tackling her and falling on top, I take my time standing up; I feel

no need to rush. As we get to our feet I find her hands still clutch my arms; the feel of her smooth

skin as it brushes against me, this is what heaven will be like. We float for a while, oblivious to

everything around us. The rest of the guys play football on the beach while the girls sunbake, but

we stay there; I want this to last forever.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The week passes quickly; at night we walk along the beach before heading back to our rooms, I

watch her sleeping in the bed next to me; I could lie awake all night watching her breathe.

Eventually I fall asleep and dream of her.
