so in a few of my stories there will be crossovers with others! the two biggest ones will be with the AoL (a group of my OC's) and the Nani Saga (I really need to find a better name). I also have a theory about a multiverse of media and one power which a big majority of my OC's have, which I will also go over in this chapter. these are just the basics, I plan to go over them in way more detail in other chapters, but these things are just the way I tie all of my characters together (I love crossovers ok) and it's pretty necessary to at least address, so here we go.
the first group I will go over is the AoL, or the Association of Legends.
the gist of it is that it's a group of kids destined to change their worlds (can vary in gender, this group is all girls.), and this is normally led by a god (this time a goddess) who is randomly chosen. all of them are divinely chosen by a higher up god, probably the big head honcho? Idk, haven't been thinking about that a lot. basically they be destined for big things, and the big things that they'll do is called their "story" or legend. they each get a necklace which can go forward in time and borrow the power they'll have at the end of their story. if they're already in their story, not only will they get their power, but their body will jump to the time when they finish their story. I call this "Ultimate form" (which I could not spell until last year god I am stupid). this group has some rare cases, where one will have two stories (that are quite short) and another will had already started her story even before knowing of the AoL. the "stories" are quite structured like a normal book. some might be like a book series, depends on the character. they meet monthly in a space only members can access. if anyone played Kid Icarus: Uprising, it looks a lot like Palutena's temple. except, a bit more enclosed. when in this world they are immediately transformed into their ultimate forms if they have their necklace. they can bring others into this world, such as friends and allies and such, but they cannot stay for more than 2 days at a time.
once debriefed about all the things going on, they start to study a magic called rune magic. they start of with basic things, like basic teleportation, multiplying things (not living), and levitation. after mastering that, they can choose an element, but only one element. such elements include the basics (like fire and water), but can also include things like time and space, light and dark, suns and moons, and basically a big chunk of Pokemon types. I'll go more into this in another chapter.the next thing I will be going over is the Nani Saga, named that because all the main characters are self inserts of myself. no spoilers, but the group will be made out of 8 characters, 5 original, 3 are not mine. 2 will come from an original story, 4 will come from games (2 separate games, 2 each), and 2 will come from an anime. the gist of it is that the inserts will all be like the same person, and will be able to control each other's weapons, that are only supposed to be controlled by their respective owners (with the exception of one, she uses magic only.), and they'll go world hopping together. their objectives will vary from each one, one may be "help the main characters get this done", or "defeat the darkness that's invading", or "teach this OC the power of song". it does have a certain amount of worlds that they'll visit (ok maybe not that set). I don't plan on writing this until I finish their respective stories (which will take a while considering how long I'm taking on Angel's Haven [which is only just a prequel]). not much else I wanna write about with this, so lets move on to the next thing!
next up is my multiverse theory! so my idea is based a bit off of both Undertales Multiverse and the worlds in Kingdom Hearts, not to mention also our own universe. so the start will be with our world, or universe. its basically like the sun, all the other worlds revolve around it. its also how all the worlds are made, when someone comes up with a story idea, it doesn't matter how much its like our world, as long as one thing is different, its created into a separate world. if its based off of another existing medium, such as Undertale, it goes into that world and creates its own universe thing. if something is popular enough, and has enough mini worlds surrounding it, the base media becomes like our world, absolutely untouchable. only a few people from each world know about this, and even fewer can actually move across this plain of imagination. the only way you can move across this is with things capable of space travel, like the millennial falcon, or the Gummi ships from KH, or even space ships from our world. more will be covered in another chapter, I still like to think I'm still working on this.
finally, the last thing I will be covering is the power of song. it's a pretty dinky title for a VERY OP power. it's mostly explained with the title, if you sing or play a song you get magic. there are three tiers to this, and if you have one tier, you cannot change or train into another one. you stuck with it basically.
the first tier is the dinkiest, but still pretty powerful. you can play music by singing, dancing, or playing an instrument, and you can either store the energy for later to be used like a shockwave, or you can use the energy while you're playing and the magic is much more malleable. you could create images associating to the song (things from music videos, backup dancers, floating words, really anything as long as it relates to the song.), or if its something like a vocaloid song or an anime opening (things that will mostly come up in stories I write with it) you can turn into a character that relates to the song and basically use their skill sets (for example, if I sing Snow Fairy [OP 1 from Fairy Tail], I can turn into Natsu and use his magic). of course, if you turn into a male character and you're a female, you'll just turn into a gender bent version of them, or if the character is younger than you, you just turn into an older version of them (of course, keeping the same rule from above.). the longer song you play, the more powerful the magic will be, and the slower the stored energy will disappear. the first tier is the most common one.
the second tier is just a bit more powerful than the first one. same rules apply, except you can use more powerful images (and possibly even music videos if you strong enough?) and the stored energy will last for way longer (if you play one song with the first tier and the stored energy lasts for 2 days, than the second tier will last for 4 days.). of course, it will shrink overtime, but it'll last for longer. if you use it right then and there, you do have a bit more freedom with it, but still not much. this tier is most common in members of the AoL, and characters like Angie (more divine creatures, like angels).
the third tier is the strongest, the big OP momma. like the first two, the same rules apply, but with this tier you can use your imagination to the fullest, while still relating to the source material (if I'm singing Tokyo Teddy Bear, then I can't summon something like My Little Pony, and vice versa). you will be able to play full on music videos, a few OC's can play music videos created by themselves, even if they're not even created yet. if you chose to store the energy, most likely its gonna last for a week or something. this tier is very uncommon, and I only have a couple of characters with this tier (one's a goddess, and the other could might as well be one).and that's all for this! keep in mind that these will be more fleshed out in other chapters (next chapter will be about rune magic) so stay tuned! I do intend for this book to be more about characters and how I change the source materials to fit them (especially Flame's story), but I will put out chapters like this sometimes. that's all I got for now, hope to see you soon!
