Chapter 4

Leon's P.O.V

She took me deep inside the forest. For a second I thought I was about to get stabbed and die. But the more I thought, I knew that Mia was too innocent to kill anyone. Right?

" So are you going to tell me where we are going?" I asked her trying not to sound mean or rude. I remember when we were younger she would cry when I burst out with anger and yell at her. She would start running, hide then cry, for all I know that's what she does. I found her once but she wasn't exactly hiding.

"Nope it's a suprise." She simply stated and keep walking while holding onto my arm. It started to hurt a little, but I'm not complaining.

She let go and looked back at me. She remained expressionless and I started feeling confused, when I was about to say something she cut me off.

"What I'm about to show you is something I've never shown anyone" she said when a serious face. I nodded agreeing that I wouldn't tell anyone.

She reached out for my hand. I felt a sudden chill run down my spine when she grabbed my hand. I blushed a bit. Well maybe a lot. Crap, why am I blushing so hard? I thought she would notice that I kind of... you know.

Like her.

Mia's P.O.V.

He turned bright red when I touched his hand. For a second I thought he was going to faint but nope. He kept staring at the ground aimlessly, I tried to look at him in the eyes but his hand was covering is mouth. He took a glimpse at me. And turned the other way not facing me. I started getting suspicious of him.

Until his hands were burning hot. Going back to my theory of him puking. I suddenly let go of his hand and cupped his cheeks in my hands.

"Are you okay? You are getting strangely warm and you're covering your mouth."

He stared at me for a couple seconds then closed his eyes and let out a sigh.

Leon's P.O.V.

I could tell she was getting worried about me turning tomato red. I slowly opened my eyes and did the dumbest things I could do.

I quickly wrapped my arms around her waist. She was really warm, soft and smelt nice. Whoa whoa whoa whoa.... I just sniffed her. That was a creepy move.

Her arms were tucked in. She gently laid her arms on my chest. I started lay my head on her small shoulder.

"Sorry I left you" I whispered into her ear. She jolted a little bit. I heard squeal, It  was so quiet that I barely missed it. She let her arms out and gently laid them down on my neck. One of her hands reached my face.

"It's okay, it's not your fault" she said while closing her eyes, as her forehead touched mine. I slightly rested my head there.

Mia's P.O.V.

I gently pulled away from him and said "come, I want to show you my secret hideout." I let out a weak smile, my eyes were still full of sorrow. They were also getting really blurry. I quickly turned around,  so he couldn't see the tears streaming down my cheeks. I let out a sigh. Turning around I once again took him hand and led him in the green vines cover I use to block out the world from knowing. Plus this is where my new family was. We weren't just a group,  but a pack.
